Maya opened her eyes to a crimson red pupils staring back at her, which is surprising to say the least.

And out that shock, she instinctively created water spikes out from the floor and pointed towards Yan Hao.

"Whoa-ho- Chill out, I'm not here to break your bones!" He backed away towards the door.

"Yet" He mumbled, but clear enough for her to hear.

"What. Do. You. Want?" Maya snarled.

Yan Hao chuckled, then snapped his fingers which froze the water spikes instantly.

"Nothing much, just want you to be healthy is all~★"

The pink haired oni scoffed, and tries to stand up to probably beat the living shit out of the crimson bird.

But sadly, her injuries prevented her to do so and only crippled her back to the bed with a groan.

"Hey, hey~ Don't move too much, your stupidity is gonna be the end of you"

"Man, I gotta give myself a high-five for injuring you so much. Because with that, I don't have to get killed again" He snickered, making her even more annoyed.

Clearing his throat, he declared;

"I'll take care of you for the time being, I know I'm the one who caused it but this is the best option after all"

"Then why-"

Yan Hao cuts her off, his face changed into a much of a blank slate than before.

His cheery tone and aura was replaced by an enigmatic sense.

"Because you're hunting US down, and the people that WE care for"

Maya stared in wide eyes at the crimson bird, as he promptly changed back to his usual mood.

Then, a growling sound comes out from her stomach.

"Oh riiiightt, I forgot~! You haven't eaten in days, ahaha silly ol' me" Yan Hao clasped his hands.

Reaching towards the sliding door, before he goes out he said something to Maya.

"I'll be back in a sec, and also-"

For a second, Maya could hear two voices speaking at once from him.

As if both Yan Hao and Atlas is keeping an eye on her.

"If you do anything funny, I won't hesitate to kill you on the spot"

"Buh-bye!"

Yan Hao let out a hum as he walked down the halls towards the kitchen.

Then, a "bright" idea comes out from his head- or THEIR head.

Giggling on his way, he eventually reached the kitchen.
