Chapter 1: I'm Still Alive

It was finally graduation day... It was the end of school, every thing was perfect already... Except there was that one reason why it wasn't so perfect anymore, it was Eddie's death... He deserves this day...

Dustin's POV

I was preparing for the graduation, my mom was helping me out. It was really exciting and I was in a good mood not until my mom of course mentioned him...

"So honey, I was thinking that you should not visit Eddie today, I mean... This is a graduation day not a funeral day" She bursted her laughter out as she said that

"Mom, you told me not to make fun of dead people and now you're the one making fun of my fucking friend!?" Those words slipped out of my mouth

"Dusty, did you just raise your voice at me?" She gazed at me angrily

"I'm sorry, Mom... Just please don't talk shit about Eddie ever again..." I looked away with tears going down my cheek

She continued fixing my hair as I sat their in silence crying my tears out...

Steve's POV

I didn't think much of going to the graduation, but, Dustin wanted me to watch him, I wish I could watch Eddie graduate too... That was one reason why I wanted to go to the graduation...

"I don't know this mixed feeling..." I said that to Robin who was confused as hell.

"So... you're saying that you want to go to the graduation but at the same time you don't want to go to the graduation since Eddie isn't there and you really want to see him graduate?" Robin said that to me as she was walking back and forth in my room.

"It's not like that! I wanna go to watch Dustin and the others graduate and then I don't want to go to the graduation because it's Eddie's birthday and I want to visit him on a special day-" I said those words without any hesitation

Robin's POV

Eddie's birthday? How come nobody told me... That was the reason why Steve didn't want to go...? I understand Steve but I hope he can still come to the graduation, it's a big day...

"Eddie's birthday, you say?" I replied to Steve with a grin on my face

"What's your idea?" Steve asked me while he was fixing his hair

"What if after you watch Dustin, Max, Lucas whoever you know graduates, we can sneak out..." Saying the words with no hesitation

"Robin, really!? Sneak out!?" Steve said with an angry face

"C'mon! This is Eddie were talking about for God's sake, Steve!" I had no idea what I said but I saw Steve looking in the mirror sadly

Steve's POV

It hurts to talk about Eddie... It feels like he's already taken every part of my body... It feels like he never left, it feels like he's been with me this whole time... What if he never died? What if- He never left us all alone...?

"Fine... We can try to escape-" I replied to Robin thinking if I did the right thing

"Thank you! You finally think my idea is better!" Robin said that happily

I sighed in relief thinking that it was ok... But... I still can't move on from what she said... "This is Eddie were talking about" Why can't I get it out of my head? Why do I feel that he's still here...?

Eddie's POV

I woke up feeling the pain... I saw a tall black figure standing infront of me... Could it be someone to save me? Was it Steve? I opened my eyes fully and my eyes were wide open. Vecna...? Am I still in the Upside Down? I was processing what was happening till he spoke to me...

"You will join me Eddie Munson..." He told me that as I cried in pain

"P-please stay away" I told him as he frowned

"I will heal you and I will give you the chance to be strong and empowered... It will be... Very metal" He said that as he leaned closer to me

"M-metal you say?" I thought a lot and it was silent for 20 seconds...

"Now tell me, Eddie... Do you wanna be strong again...?" He grinned at me but this wasn't really about me being strong...

"I- I wanna be strong... But... You promise me something" He tilted his head at me

"What do you want me to promise you...?" I looked at his eyes and then to the sky with the red thunder

"Promise me... That I will meet my friends again..." Vecna froze

"I promise... Now, let's make you strong again" He helped me get up and we were walking to my trailer...

It feels like he wanted me to be strong not so I could be healthy again... It was something else this time... And I'll figure out why he wants me to be strong so bad, Vecna was never nice...

Steve's POV

I zoned out thinking about Eddie, what if he was still alive? What if he is still in the Upside Down looking for me or Dustin, I just sat there in silence looking in the mirror and there I saw something behind me... It looked like Eddie except the figure was really tall and their was something like a red light that was in his eyes, their was bat wings and really pointy ears...

"Dingus!" Robin shouted at me with a worried tone

"Woah! Did you see that!? There was something behind me, Rob!" I was really scared and nervous

"Saw what...?" Robin replied to me and she was serious

"D-did you not see it, Rob? I-it was really tall, a-and it had red eyes, it even had bat wings, BIG BAT WINGS, and even pointy ears!" I exclaimed while Robin eyes widened each word I said

"Dingus... I think that was a vampire who's gonna haunt you till the rest of your life" Robin told me in a voice that sounded like Vecna's voice

And there I snapped I suddenly woke up in a lab... There was nothing or even no one in there... Just doors and there was the same figure I saw in the mirror... It was growling in hunger...

"Steve..." I heard Eddie's voice again, he sounded really scared...

Robin's POV

Steve wasn't moving and he wouldn't wake up... No matter how may times I tried he just wouldn't wake up... He started to float in the air and there I was screaming till the top of my lungs

"Steve! Holy shit man!" I screamed at Steve as he floated to the air

I didn't know what to do so I got my phone and contacted Nancy, she wasn't answering... I ran to the walkie-talkie and contacted Dustin

Dustin's POV

As I was fixing my clothes the walkie-talkie was vibrating... It was Robin... She had a very shaky voice so I knew it was urgent... I picked it up

"This is Robin, do you copy!?" Robin had a panicking tone

"This is Dustin, I copy! What's the matter!?" I replied to Robin with a worried tone

"Steve is up in the air like some fucking bird and I need help- What do I do!? Like I've been worried sick for the past I don't know 30 seconds!? His eyes are like going in his brain or something! Just help me!" Robin talked so fast that the only word I understand was "Steve is up in the air like some fucking bird"

"I'm coming in 2 minutes!" I put down the walkie-talkie and ran downstairs as fast as I could
