A/n I know this chapter is a little shorter then the other ones I been putting up im  just getting ready to start a new job soon, but I'll post more soon 

Evelyn and Beth woke up before Haley and Ashton that morning. Beth looked at Evelyn How about I call rip to bring us some food and then we'll wake them up" Evelyn nodded getting up" sounds like a plan" she walked over and sat in the bay window as Beth called rip. After talking to rip for a few minutes she hung up, walking over she next to Evelyn "what's on your mind evie" Evelyn looked at her aunt" how long do there arguments normally last before they call a truce or talk again"Beth smiled a little "the one thing I know about your mom and dad is that, there fights sometimes they could last a week, sometimes a little bit longer. It would depend whose the one that's mad" Evelyn sighed "hopefully it's not long cause I know they both love each other"Beth nodded " I do too" She smiled as she heard a knock on the door "that would be rip" Beth walked over and to the door and opened it seeing rip"hey baby" she smiled and let him in, Evelyn got up and walked over "Hi rip" Rip smiled walked towards the kitchen "hey mini Haley"Evelyn laughed walking into the kitchen with them" want me to go wake them"  Rip smirked " I got this" Putting the stuff down he walking over he grabbed a wood spoon and a pan

Rip walked into the living room he smirked as he starting banging on the pan to wake them up. Hearing the noise Haley and Ashton shot up looking up and rip "RIP!" They both shouted as Rip, Beth and Evelyn laughed, Haley got up from the couch "was that nessacary?" She asked as she walked over towards rip" no but it was funny"He laughed as he hugged Haley, Haley shook her head as shed hugged him back Ashton walked past her brother poking him "Jerk" Rip looked at her " witch". They all headed into the kitchen and sat down too eat " So Evie, i was thinking after breakfast you could head back to the ranch and spend time with your dad for the day" Evelyn smiled "that be awesome" Haley smiled as they all started to eat. Finishing up haley and Ashton started cleaned up the dish as Evelyn went to go get read, rip leaned against he counter" So how you doing with all this Haley?" Haley looked at rip "im doing okay, I know it's going to take him a while to forgive. and im excited to start work tomorrow" Rip smiled as she stood up" you know he loves you haley, he'll be at the ranch permantly" Haley looked at rip " what happened to him and Monica" Beth and Evelyn came back in the kitchen " we are going to head out, we'll see you all later" Evelyn walked over and hugged her mom " Bye mom love you". Haley hugged her back and smiled " Love you too sweetheart have fun with your dad" Haley smiled as they all left

Kayce sat out on the porch of the ranch, Looking out in front of him he thought about everything that happened the past week. From Haley coming back to finding out they have a daughter together. He didn't know how long if was going to take him this time, He didn't know it was something as big as having a kid some time apart would make it easier on the both of them. He looked up hearing Beth's car come up the driveway, he got up and walked down the porch as he saw Evelyn in the car. Evelyn smiled as she got out walking over to her dad " Hi Dad" Kayce smiled looking at her " Hi baby girl, sorry I took a while for me to see you " Evelyn smiled and hugged her dad " it's okay your here now" Kayce hugged her back smiling" how about we go ride horses I know a great spot and we can change up" Evelyn nodded" Sounds like a plan" Kayce put an arm around her as they walked off towards the the stable, getting to the ranch they walked in and saddled up the horses . Getting on the took off towards ,after riding for a little bit they came to the hill that over looks the houses. Evelyn got off the horse followed by Kayce walking over to the rocks they both sat "Mom took me here, She told me you guys use to come up here a lot" Evelyn said looking at her dad. Kayce smiled sitting next to her " that is true, I also use to be able to find her up" Kayce looked at her " You look like the both of us" Evelyn smiled " mom says she doesn't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing" Kayce laughed" she is right" Evelyn turned and looked at her dad" Lets play 20 questions" Kayce nodded " Okay I'll go first, when's your birthday" Evelyn sat cross crossed on the rock " September 2nd, im 12, my turned what was your favorite hobby growing up" Kayce smiled  and  thought of about it "being on the ranch, what about yours" Evelyn smiled"  Baking with mom" Asking questions back and forth Kayce got to know his daughter more, he may not of been there for her when she was growing up but he was here now and that's all that matters

Haley got her lunch and Evelyn's lunch ready for tomorrow, putting everything in the fridge  she went upstairs to get changed he figured she head to the ranch early and hang out around the house,. Haley walked into her room picking her outfit out she got changed, grabbing her phone she walked out of her room grabbing  the left over bake goods from last night, She walked out and got into her car heading to the ranch. Pulling into the drive she parked the grabbing her bags before she got out of the car, Haley headed inside seeing john in the living room she smiled " Hi Mr. Dutton" John looked over at haley and smiled " Hi haley let me get gator to get those bags, take a seat Beth will been in soon" Haley smiled placing the bags down  sitting down on the couch she put her feet up on the table in front of her "Well it's like nothings changed" she smiled looking around thinking about growing up at the ranch, be brought out of her thoughts she heard Beth walk in followed by  Ashton and Jamie" Oh yeah I forgot it was going to be an interesting night" Haley said to herself 

Everyone sat around the dinner table Kayce across from Haley and Evelyn, Ashton and Jamie next to her. John looked over at  Haley and Evelyn " You both excited for tomorrow" Haley smiled and nodded " I am and a little nervous, most those teachers there taught me now im like there boss" Evelyn smiled "I'm excited" Rip looked at his sister " Ashton not that I don't love seeing you why are you here, you never come to  family dinner" Haley looked over at her best friend" Yeah Ashton why are you here" Ashton glared at haley as Evelyn elbowed her mom gently whispering "stop it mom" Kayce laughed at Haley and Evelyn, Ashton took a deep breath " Well you see Rip,  Me and Jamie have been dating" Haley looked over at rip as she sipped her whine. Rip looked from His sister to Jamie and then to haley before looking back and his sister " why look at me I didn't know nothing" Haley mumbled looking at Rip. Rip chuckled shaking his head " Im sorry what"
