Haley woke up the next morning, looking over at the clock she new that it was early but the party was today and she had to do a lot of cooking and baking. She thought about getting five more minutes but before she could Ashton came barging in the room " GOOD MORNING" she shouted and haley covered her face with her pillow "ugh  how do you have so much energy" Ashton laughed at her " i had coffee now get up and we have to  start baking cause gator is doing  the regular food" Haley tossed the covers off her sitting up "I'll be down in a minute" Ashton nodded and headed downstairs to  get everything out that they would need. Haley came down and few minutes later in her pajama's " alright let's start baking, so we can then go see my daughter" Ashton nodded as they both started there morning of baking

Evelyn woke up before Beth and Rip, leaving them a note she went up to the main house to see her grandpa and father. Walking in she smelled gators breakfast, smiling she walked into the dining room seeing her grandpa, father and some kid "Good Morning" She smiled  as her dad and grandpa looked over at her" Evelyn i didn't know that you stopping by" her dad said "Mom asked aunt Beth and uncle rip to watch me at random last night and i woke up before them but i let them know that im here. Hi grandpa" She smiled at John "Hi birthday girl" He smiled at Evelyn as gator brought some food in for her and Kayce smiled at her " happy birthday baby girl" Tate looked at his dad then Evelyn " uh dad?" Evelyn looked at Tate then her dad " dad? Whose your dad?" Evelyn asked Tate as Kayce  jumped in " i thought you guys would of met differently, Tate this is your sister Evelyn. Evelyn this is your brother Tate" They both looked at there dad speaking at the same time and smiled " I have a sibling?" John and kayce laughed at them "yes you do" Tate  smiled "awesome, I mean i would of loved a brother but a sister is awesome" Evelyn laughed " Having a sibling is awesome in general"  Kayce smiled at both of them as they both started talking. As they all finished eating Kayce got up" Tate, Evelyn. I'm going to go see in Evelyn's mom needs help bringing anything over yet. You guys want to stay and get to know each other" Evelyn Smiled at her dad " yes" Tate smiled and looked at Evelyn "come on lets go out  by the horses" Evelyn nodded as she followed Tate down, Kayce smiling at them before looking at his father. "I'll be back" he said before leaving

After Evelyn and Tate got down there they sat on a hay bail, " So how old are you Tate?" Evelyn looked over at her brother "im 10 how old are you?" Evelyn smiled "i turned 13 today" Evelyn looked over at the horses then back at Tate " Did you get to come to the ranch a lot " Tate shook his head "No, my mom never liked it here. I only recently was about to  come around here" Evelyn nodded " I would of love to grown up here, but Texas is beautiful i grew up on my uncles ranch it was fun. But i love it here now" Evelyn smiled  she was so happy that she finally had a sibling. As they continued to get out know each other, John came down to the barn and smiled at his two grandchildren talking and getting  along together there was nothing else he could want more then his whole family here on the ranch. It gave him hope for the future of the ranch and of his family, He walked over and sat next to them as he listened in on there conversations smiling

Kayce pulled up to Haley's house, once he opened the air door he smelled everything they were baking, he smiled walking into he house " Haley?" he called out "In the kitchen with Ashton" Kayce walked to the kitchen and smiled at them both "Good morning ladies" Ashton smiled " Good Morning Kayce, what brings you here" Haley got more cookies out of the oven "Morning Kayce whats up?" Kayce looked at haley and smiled leaning on the wall " figured i would see if you need help and anything brought over to the ranch" haley smiled" yes everything is in the garage and  would you be able to please start setting stuff up?" Haley wiped her hands as she walked out to the garage Kayce following  her " Sure I'll get Beth to help" Haley smiled "that be awesome, so everything in the front has to go to  the ranch take as many trips as you want" kayce nodded " I will thanks " haley smiled "you rock for helping" Kayce chuckled as he watched  haley head back inside as he started to loading up the truck as he moved one of the last boxes he bumped into another box as two pictures  fell out "Crap" He said placing the box in his hand down as he picked up the pictures. One of them was of Bennett siblings and the dutton's sibling when they were growing up, the next one was of Haley and some guy maybe it was and ex of here's from Texas. He shook his head as he placed the pictures down and put the last box in his truck before walking back inside the house "Do you need anything else brought over" he looked at haley " No the rest I'll bring over later but thank you soo much" Haley smiled  as kayce turned to walk out of the house. " Oh kayce" Haley shouted following kayce out as he stopped "yes?" He turned looking at her " after the party tonight we are having our annual fire pit here, i know  we aren't on normal talking terms but why let it ruin a traditions" Kayce thought about it for a minute " I'll be there why break a tradition" He smiled as he got in the truck and drove off towards the ranch as haley headed back inside to finish baking
