The girl that sits across from me

With the winged purple glasses and the wily blonde hair,

She's a fiery one.

She has passion and stubbornness to an intense degree,

Like no one else.

She keeps her hair in a ponytail because her neighbor in kindergarten put gum in it.

She carries a roll of hot pink duck tape to wrap around her pencil box every time she closes it, since it broke open on the stairs in middle school.

She never listens to any music with drums because it reminds her too much of her Highschool Dean of Students, who would pound symbols in the hallway to hurry kids along.

She hates animals due to a dog barking at her when she biked to campus one day.

And she always stands up for me, the one passerby that happened to step in when I got assaulted in third grade.

Sure, she may be fierce and untamable,

But I love her more than anything.
