Look over to see your shadow,
Nothing but a whisper that'll
Never be enough.
My hands feel cold without yours in 'em,
Grasp at air again and again.
Feeling empty in your absence,
A half of a whole,
Paying penance.
Scared I'll wake from this dream of ours,
Hoping my reality's up in the stars.
Nothing but a wish you'll come with,
Can't close the distance,
Blood down my wrist.
Withering under the sky,
Counting days 'til I die.
Under the surface,
Pressure amounts,
There's nowhere to go,
Only one way out.
Safe as a victim,
I'm taking your route.
Lay beside you,
A coffin we share,
'Cause death is equal,
But life's unfair
