Darkness. Darkness was all he saw before he woke up in a padded room. It took his eyes a while to get used to the sudden light change but once he could actually see, he sat up and assessed his surroundings. The entire room was padded except a metal door on one side and a poster with numbers and names on the other. Around him were his friends, plus Charlie. It seemed he was the first one up, but that soon changed when he saw Charlotte wake up.

"The fuck...?" She commented, looking around. When Bryce took a closer look, he saw tags on everyone's ankle, then looked back on the poster. It seemed everyone was connected to a number. The poster read:

████████ = 01-1-1
Soda Bottle     = 02-1
Scenty               = 03-1
Moldy                = 04-1
Magazine         = 05-1
Tomato             = 06-1

Before Bryce could even think about it, a speaker hidden somewhere in the room make a distorted ring, waking up everyone else and annoying those who were already awake. When the ear-breaking ringing stopped, they all immediately knew who was on the other side.

"Hello again, how are my favorite contestants?" A monotone and detached voice spoke. Rage consumed Bryce. If Airy was here, things were worse than it seemed. Knowing that sly bitch, it meant they weren't going to be leaving any time soon.

"It took a while to get you guys here, but welcome to your new home." That fucker spoke. This isn't home. This is some sick twisted game he was forced to play. This is just him and his friends being puppets. This is not what any of them wanted. This. Isn't. Fair. He was about to start yelling at Airy when the bastard said,

"Before you scream at me..." The door opened. "Go explore for a bit." Bryce was about to start screaming anyways, but the speaker turned off. That was... weird... and annoying...

"So... Should we go explore?" Taylor asked.

"Yeah, sure, whatever." Charlotte agreed. Everyone started heading to the door except Bryce.

"Are you coming with us?" Amelia asked. Bryce shook his head and told her he still needed to process everything. The group walked off, leaving him alone. He took a closer look at the poster. One of the names were blanked out but he knew who it was. Liam. 8 letters confirmed it said 'Backpack' before it was redacted. He was here this whole time. But why were there extra numbers?

Circle stretched as he exited the blank room. He tried to understand what Airy was saying but it was just too loud in there. Abstracty is a bitch. But it didn't matter anymore, he was away from that stupid room and was now in a bigger room. It looked like a cafeteria. Wait... was that...

"Charlotte!?" Circle exclaimed. Charlotte waved in response before Circle walked over to her.

"How are you?" He asked.

"Well, we did kinda get kidnapped so... Good enough?"

"Right- sorry-" Circle and Charlotte chatted some more, then Whippy Creamy and Subway Seat joined and everything was going well for them.

"So, what do your posters say? I'm pretty sure every room has one." Subway Seat asked.

"I can't remember. I was too focused on trying to make Abstracty shut up." Circle replied. Everyone laughed at it, considering they all knew how loud they were.

"Well, why don't we go find out? We have time, don't we?" Whippy Creamy asked. Everyone agreed and they started going to Circle's room. There, the poster listed;

Texty           = 01-3
Folder        = 02-3
Stone         = 03-3
Atom          = 04-3
Circle         = 05-3
Abstracty = 06-3

"Boring." Charlotte commented.

"Yeah, and I got the worst roommates." Circle replied.

"Well... Texty and Atom aren't so bad!" Subway Seat tried to cheer him up. They moved on to the next room, with more boring numbers.

Contact Lens       = 01-2
Subway Seat       = 02-2
Tray                         = 03-2
Basey                      = 04-2
Airline Food         = 05-2
Whippy Creamy = 06-2

"Why are the names either really long or really short?" Charlotte asked. Whippy Creamy shrugged, Circle nodded, and Subway Seat said,

"Maybe it was a coincidence?" Regardless, they moved onto the final room. Bryce had left by then and the group noticed something strange.

"Why are one of the names blacked out?" Circle asked.

"Dunno." Charlotte replied.

"Wait... 8 letters... Is it Liam? And why does he have extra numbers?" Subway Seat questioned.

Well, that was something they could figure out.
