Chapter 6

Destiny's POV

"Wake up love, we are here." I hear someone whisper.

I slowly open my eyes. My vision is blurry at first but when it clears up, I see Ariana staring down at me.

"Hi." I whisper back.

"Hey." She says smiling.

I smile back and sit up.

"Come on let's go inside." she tells me.

"Okay" I say and we both get out of the car.

We start to walk up to this big house.

My eyes go wide and I can tell Ariana is staring at me.

She giggles.

"Wait until you see the inside" she says.

I smile and she takes out her keys and opens the door.

She stands there and I go in before her.

"Wow." I say.

She shuts the door and walks over to me.

"Do you like it?"

"Yeah, it's beautiful. This has to be the biggest house I've ever been in."

"Really? This house is so small compared to most houses." She tells me.

"Wow."

"Yup".

"So let me show you the guest room." Ariana says as she holds out her hand.

I take it and she leads me up these beautiful spiral stairs.

We get to the top and she takes me down this long hallway.

There are so many rooms but we stop at the second to last one.

She smiles and looks at me.

"You ready to see it?" She asks smiling.

"Yeah." I smile back.

She opens the door and my eyes go big.

It's so beautiful. There is a queen sized bed. A flat screen tv and a balcony.

"Wow."

"Do you like it?"

"Yeah."

"The door to the right is the bathroom and the door to the left is a walk in closet." she tells me.

"A walk in closet?" I ask shocked.

Yeah here let me show you." she says as she takes my hand."

We walk in and I look around amazed at the size."

"What do you think?"

"This closet is bigger than my whole room back at my house." I tell her.

Her eyes fill with sadness.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you sad." I apologize feeling guilty.

"No, there is nothing to be sorry for. just thinking about you're life back at home makes me sad." She tells me.

"It's okay, I'm fine." I fake smile.

"No you're not."

"Yes I am. look, I'm smiling."

"I smile can cover up pain, I know you're hurting." she tells me.

I look down.

"How would you know that?"
