Chapter One: The Beginning

Could my life get any worse, my father thinks horses are too dangerous for me, and I can't handle them, even though I have been around them all my life. I don't know where my mother is to be honest I don't care where she is. She left my father and I just after I was born, Dad said she has nicked off with this guy she met in Melbourne. He said "I am glad I never ask her to marry me" I just give a little smile. Because I know deep down that she was his one true love. He never speaks of finding a new girl he just says that I'm the best and most important girl that will ever be in his life.

In our little country town the most important things are: Your horses and your livestock. My dad is into the horses he has the best trail racer in Australia. Oh I forgot that the only manger thing that ever happens in our town is a week of trail racing. Every year in October about 100 or so horses come to our little town in the middle of nowhere to see if their horses have the best tyrants that a horse can have; they are speed, strength , will power, determination and most important stamina. My dad's prize horse is called Patching Jack but we just call him Jacko. He is 16.3hh he is a stockhorse cross thoroughbred. My dad isn't a fan of thoroughbreds but he said its nothing against the horse its just certain people who have them that shouldn't. He is so Wise with things like that because it is so true. Another reason why my life is shitting because I get bullied, by four girls that have no reason to hate me but they do. They own thoroughbreds. The biggest bully (the leader) her parents brought her a horse for $6000 and she doesn't even look after it.

That week racing thing I was talking about has different age groups she always wins and her mates always come in after her. This is how bad she is, her friend was going to win on a horse that once was ours and mini (nickname for the leader) yelled out to her and said that your horse better stop otherwise you can eat in the toilets, and with a Hard pull she stopped her horse to come in second after mini. It's just so unfair.
