Morning came much too fast, waking up to my alarm but my eyes refusing to open "Can we just ditch today?" Eddie mumbles against my back as he spoons me, we did have twenty some odd sick days for the school year.. "How about we go at lunch?" I ask,

Not wanting to miss the entire day and put us both behind "Mmm fine," he mumbles again as I set the alarm.

I roll over as Eddie refuses to move, placing sleepy kisses on his shoulder as I snuggle back into him. "I could stay here forever," he yawns said we both drift back to sleep.

"Ugh, already," I hear Eddie groan as the alarm goes off again, "Come on, we can't sleep all day." I groan myself but sit up this time, turning off the alarm and rubbing my tired eyes.

"Why not, we do live together now." He pulls me back down beside him, wrapping his arms and legs around me like a vine "Do you want to graduate this year?" I laugh as his eyes shoot open "Good point," he breathes out.

Eddie and I slowly get up, I felt bad he'd be going to school in the clothes he was wearing the previous night but there just wasn't enough time to stop at his place.

It felt like the twenty minutes of getting ready dragged on, we were born so extremely exhausted and all we wanted was sleep.

"Ah shit, my bags at the trailer," Eddie sighs heavily, his eyes puffy from sleep "I'll meet you at school?" he asks as I nod, him taking his van to stop at the trailer and me using my car to get to school.

I place my hands on either side of his neck, sharing many lazy kisses as we don't want to part. "I love you," I press against his lips again, "I love you, princess." He grins against mine, giving each other a tight hug before parting ways to our respective vehicles.

"Don't be late!" I call out from my car as Eddie gets in the driver side of his van "When am I ever?" Eddie laughs, giving a small wave. He was late a lot.

The drive to school felt like it took hours when really it took about ten minutes, I couldn't wait for school to end.. finish my shift then go home and sleep.

I'd get to sleep with Eddie, every night for the rest of time. How could I not look forward to that?

I wait in the schools parking lot for Eddie to get to school, for all I knew he was fully ditching and went back to the trailer to sleep more.

Some of the students were leaving to have lunch at home or hang out somewhere else for the lunch period. I s asscould feel my stomach rumbling, I didn't even think to eat something before I left. Well, at least I'll have tons of ice cream to make myself sick at work.

Finally, I sigh.. seeing Eddie's can come down the street.. at the same time I hear revving behind me. I look behind me, excepting it to be one of the asshole jokes showing off but no this asshole joke was flying full speed out of the parking lot,

I yelled to Eddie to stop, his music blaring too loud to hear me. Watching as he went to pull in to the schools drive way, at the same time a Chevy Camaro went flying out.

Direct impact.

The Camaro slammed into the driver side of Eddie's truck, sending it across the road, rolling and rolling and rolling. The ear piercing sound of metal scraping against pavement filled the immediate vicinity.

The students flocked to the parking lot, curious what the sound of horrors was as the van squeaked, swaying lightly before making a loud thud as it finally stopped.

The car sat there motionless as did the van. The cars front end completely shattered and scattered across the road. The vans side indented beyond belief, it's own missing pieces spread out across the road.
