Death of Hugh Davis, 2012, September 30th

The lamp shinned on the side of the street, lighting up the dark side. Hugh hastily walked, for he known that there was a crazed murder lurking around the corner. He saw a young lad, shaking on the bench. Hugh thought if he would approach or just leave him, however, being a kind man he is, he approached him.

Luke shaked, hiding his pistol inside his jacket, ready to attack. Hugh slowly approached him, asking, "You should be at home, lad." Although, Luke ignored him. Hugh continued pushing the young lad to go home, for it was already dark and dangerous.

Luke got his gun, killing him. BANG! The birds flew in the sky, awakening the sky, as Luke immediately ran through the woods.

Stefanie showed to the others what her supposed-to-be engagement ring from Vince. It was a four-carat diamond ring, making all of them gasp in shock. For all the years that Vince had passed, Stefanie took care of it carefully. It was like the last thing that would connect her and Vince.

Luke sat quietly, observing Stefanie. He was quite shocked that he didn't noticed that ring on her finger. He recently noticed that he hasn't had his usually fit about reality, making all of her friends sulk in the sidelines because they knew they couldn't persuade Luke in relaxing. Although, Stefanie was a different story. She made him calm, happy even. She was like the sun, giving hope and new life in a dark day.

Luke wasn't surprise that Stefanie had a romatic life at the age of fourteen. With her beauty and brains, every boy wanted to be with her.

The story made her cry, triggering all of the emotions that she felt. She excused herself, walking up to her room. Luke immediately stood up, following her and ignoring all of her friends about their whines to give her space. As she reached her room, she locked the door, giving her space from reality. Luke fished the key of the room from his pocket and opened the door. As he opened the door, he saw her spaced out, looking out the window. He closed the door and approached her with all his might. As she turned around and stared at him, it made his heart break.

She was so lonely and miserable. He wished that he could take all the pain that she felt and he could keep it instead. But, life wasn't like that.

"Are you okay?" Asked Luke, sitting next to her.

"I'm fine," replied Stefanie. "It was just weird telling that story. I didn't like to look back. Actually, my friends didn't talk about him because they knew how I would feel." Plainly replied Stefanie.

"And then, why would you tell us?" Asked Luke.

"I don't know," exclaimed Stefanie. "I'm sorry I didn't know that I would triggered."

"Stefanie, calm down," Luke said, making her take a huge breath.

Luke took Stefanie and wrapped his long arms around her fragile body. Stefanie froze, although, she recovered and hugged him back, feeling warmth and a certain comfort that she hasn't explored yet. However, she knew that she had felt this certain thing long ago, maybe in a dream because she was positively sure that nobody touched her life a fragile porcelain doll. It was like she found another home around Luke's arms. It was so familiar to her, the place, the person, the friends, everything. However, she couldn't put a finger on it.

Sneakily, Luke held Stefanie's hand and pulled the diamond ring off her finger.

"Luke, what are you doing?" Stefanie asked, scared and surprised.

"I'm sorry, Stefanie but this is for your good," Luke said, opening the window.

Furrowing her eyebrows, she scowled and replied, "Are you fucking serious? That's worth a thousand dollars!"

"I know," calmly replied Luke. "But, this ring gives you nightmares and I don't want you to have them."

"Come on, Luke!" Exclaimed Stefanie, standing up and reaching for the ring. Luke held it over his head, stretching his arm over his head. Stefanie tried to jump, but with tall frame, she couldn't reach it. "I'm serious! Give it back!"

The strong wind continued to flowed inside the room. Luke threw the ring outside, landing on the snowy ground. Luke shut the window before Stefanie would think anything stupid.

"What the fuck, Luke?" Screamed Stefanie with frustation and anger. "What the hell did you do? Are you fucking mental?"

"I'm sorry, Stefanie," shrugged Luke. "It's for your good."

"I need that!" Exclaimed Stefanie, walking towards the door. "Excuse me, but I'm going to get that outside,"

"Goddamn it, Stefanie!" Exclaimed Luke, rushing to the door. "Don't you understand? He's already dead!"

Luke walked out the room, slamming the door behind him. He was gald that he left her before things come to the worse. Although, he couldn't let himself forcefully touch or hit Stefanie, because he liked her.

Like? But Luke Hemmings doesn't like people. He shook his head at the thought of liking Stefanie. Maybe he only cared for her because she was differemt than the other girls.

Calum was on the way to Stefanie's room, but then he saw Luke heaving angrily, trying to control his temper. Being Luke's best mate, Calum approached him forst instead of checking Stefanie.

"Hey, mate," said Calum. "Are you alright?" To his surprise, Luke pulled Calum by the collar and slammed him to the wall, making a small ruckus.

"Don't you dare," spit Luke in anger. He furrowed his eyebrows, as for Calum, he just shrugged, knowing Luke's attitude and short temper.

"Ha, I can go in there wherever I like," retorted Calum.

"Calum," continued Luke, his chest heaving up and down with the anger fueling him up. "I'm fucking warning you."

"You don't control me, Luke," replied Calum, getting tired with his friend's bullshit. "I have my life for god's sake!"

The boys continued throwing each other hate and shade. On the other hand, Stefanie wore her jacket and grabbed all of her things. She carefully opened the window, stepping out of the window. She walked through the ledge which was covered in slippert ice. As Luke and Calum finished their heated argument, they both decided talk to Stefanie at the same time. Opening the door and seeing it empty with an opened window, the two boys felt panic rushed in their veins, making their adrenaline pump faster than their heated argument. Luke hastily ran to the window, looking outside and seeing Stefanie at the snowy ground with blood in the snow.

"STEFANIE!" Screamed Luke. Calum walked towards his friend. Looking through the window, as Luke ran downstairs, Calum cursed, "Shit."
