Death of Kayla Jones and Hannah Ashmore, 2014, November 16th

Finally after a few hours of being paranoid of their surroundings, Hannah and Kayla slept beside each other in a snap. As they were sleeping cozily, the door loudly slammed shut, making them both flutter their eyes open and sit, staring at the door. They both looked at one another at the same time and back to the door, grabbing their flashlights that are beside them when they fell asleep. The door creaked open and they see a man with a hood, covering his face, leaning on the threshold, who's holding a knife and pistol.

They screamed, sure that it was loud enough for Stefanie to hear. Again, they screamed for Stefanie, for help. Kayla looked for any escape hatches like the horror movies seem to have every time, although, they weren't lucky. Tears filled their eyes, knowing that this might be their ends. Both clutching each other for dear life because they don't have anything to do, except to scream.

Where was Stefanie where they needed her?

After Luke watched the two girls panic, he threw the knife to Kayla and it hit Kayla’s throat. It began bleeding, badly. Kayla began coughing blood, making Hannah scream in horror. Luke pointed the pistol to Hannah’s forehead, shivering.

“Please, stop. You don’t have to do this,” Hannah pleaded, tears ran through her red cheeks.

“I’m sorry. I can’t stop,” Luke said.

Hannah cried for mercy, yet Luke let out a tear and pulled the trigger. Blood spread out to the floor, spilling out of the bodies of the victims. A red river flowed endlessly. Luke was about to grab the bodies, but he heard running. Luke immediately hid around the corner, cursing himself for not killing her first.

“Where am I?” Said Stefanie, as she lift her head, taking uo the horrible furniture and ambience surrounding her. She saw a person with a white mask on, who's sharpening his knife and filling his pistol with bullets.

Stefanie tried to move, but unfortunately, she was secured with ropes. She kept screaming for help, but Luke grabbed his knife and covered Stefanie’s mouth. Stefanie was cried, tears ran her cheek, like it was an endless river. In a suddenly, the person with the mask on cut the rooe using the knife that he was holding.

“Go,” said the person, turning his body away from her, before he changes his mind.

“I-I’m f-free?” stuttered Stefanie. She didn't dare to move, thinking that it might be a trapm

“JUST GO!” Screamed the person to Stefanie, who immediately ran away, up the basement stairs.

Stefanie saw her duffle bag near the front door, as she reached the top of the staircase. She turned her back if the person was following her upstairs, but to her surprise, nobody was following her! She ran to the door, bolted outside and never looked back.

A ton of snow was on the ground. Stefanie shivered, wrapping the coat on to her body tightly, that was inside her bag. Even if she had the coat, it was still freezing cold.

Although, the cold distracted her from the truth that Kayla and Hannah were dead. Dead. Her friends were dead. She didn't even say goodbye. What really happened back there? Stefanie thought.

The strong wind blew on Stefanie's body that made her reflexively hug herself and shiver. Her eyes were falling for the lack of sleep and all the questions running inside her head that made her insane. She can’t hold it anymore. Stefanie collapsed at the ground, shivering for dear life.
