MK had kept a secret for way too long and soon he figured, now was the time to bring it out there. After a long, comforting talk with his gaurdian, Pigsy, MK had finally mustered up the courage to speak with Monkey King.
He was scared, to say the least, scared Wukong would hate him, take away his powers and banish him from Flower Fruit Mountain to never return. Perhaps even yell at him. That wasn't Wukong though, right?
MK walked out the noodle restaurant trying to shake out the nerves, hurrying to the side of the building and hopping all the way up to the top, a move he had recently learned from his master, the one he might disappoint soon.
The brunette paced around the top of the building for awhile, he had already paced for an hour or so talking to Pigsy, so his legs were sore and he probably didn't need to be using his powers right now, perhaps he could break down in the middle of it and hurt himself, maybe-
MK slapped his hands over his face. "UGHH!!" he crouched down and wrapped his arms around his legs, rocking on his heels before hopping back up. He cursed a couple times, stepping to the side of the building. "Okay, okay, it'll be okay." he whispered to himself before calling his own somersault cloud.. he.. recently gave him. MK didn't dare think his name anymore.
The young adult hopped on and instantly sped off, over the city and around tall buildings that populated mostly everywhere the eye could see, unless you looked out at the edges of population, where landscape spread out for horizons. Soon MK was no longer above land though, he was over water, which glistened in the sunlight and rippled witb the wind and moon. Currently, the boy flying was no longer thinking of any bad thoughts. Only the beauty of the waves below him, a smile spreading across his face.
Upon looking up after a couple minutes, he was definitely closer to his destination, Flower Fruit Mountain. He reeled in a sharp breath, a painful one, as he sped around dangerous mountains, the outside rim of Flower Fruit, populated by deadly volcanos and lava. He had almost died here once.
Once past, it was all beautiful once again, appitizing to the eyes was jungles and forests, animals yelling out their unknown languages, it truly was nice here. He'd live here if he could.
MK found himself outside of the mountain Wukong lived in, where his small shack stood being shined on by the light of the Gods. It was nice here too. A comfort place. Suddenly it was no longer a comfort, his stomach threatened to send out all the food he had eaten before his plans.
The somersault cloud disappeared and MK walked closer to the opening, where the shack lay, but it was empty. "Huh..." he walked in, glancing around for his mentor, but he was no where to be seen. An oddly gust of wind blew through, the brunette fixed his head of hair and jogged up to the shack.
"Monkey King!" he called.
No answer. He became for skeptical, placing his hand to knob of the door and opening it. The moment he did there was-
"Hey, bud!"
MK screamed, tripping on his own feet and falling off the small porch connected to the shack and rolling right off the steps, where he somehow stuck the painful landing and hopped up on two feet. There hanging from a shadow on the roof, was the Six-Eared Macaque.
"Macaque?!"
The simian started laughing, going back into his portal only to come back out right-side up, holding his stomach. "Jeez, you sure are easy to scare!" Macaque weezed.
"Wh-" MK stammered, standing up straight, "What? Shut up! Why're you here!?"
"Ohh, right," Macaqhe cleared his throat and gathered himself, a grin still lingering from the hysteria. "Don't worry, I'm here with Wukong, of course."
There were hasty footsteps coming from behind Macaque, Wukong, to be presumed. "Macaque, what was-" Monkey King stopped behind his apparent friend, giving MK a weird look. "MK? What're you doing here?"
MK opened his mouth to explain, but he was interrupted.
"Did you scare him?" Wukong shoved Macaque, who snickered.
"No.. I'd never."
Wukong looked to his successor and crossed his arms, "He scared you, didn't he?" MK began to speak- "Macaque, you can't just do that while I was out back!"
The black-haired monkey began to laugh again, leaning against the wall he was almost pushed into. "Oh, Peaches, you can never take a joke. At least I'm not trying to kill him."
"He could've thought you were!"
Macaque groaned, rolling his eyes. "How about you go get some more peaches." Wukong glared, but there was a hint of something in his eyes, something the boy watching them couldn't really describe.
He stepped back up a single step, "Monkey King, I really need to talk to you-" this got both of their attentions- "alone."
Macaque snorted, he sounded offended for some reason. MK gulped, afraid he made him mad. Wukong looked worried.
"Why didn't you say so, kid?" He took ahold of Macaque's shoulder, giving the taller monkey a look, then gazing back to MK. "Come on in, grab a peach and sit down, I'll be there shortly."
MK smiled, nodding a thanks to him. He hurried in, sliding between the two abruptly which made one of them chuckle. MK wasn't sure. He grabbed a peach from a wooden table in the kitchen, washing it and taking a bite. He finally stopped for a moment, he could hear whispers. He tried to focus only on their conversation, maybe that was a bad thing, but MK wanted to know what was going on with them. One moment, they hated each other, next moment, they are buddy-buddy!
The boy listened in, closely, and could only hear a couple hushed words from them. "Kid... MK... Come back later..." and much more unimportant things. MK took another bite, slowly, almost unfocusing, but then he heard the strangest of all: "Love you."
