thump. they collided with the hard wooden floor of the library the diamond chandeliers trembled above them. Jace and Alec picked up clary gingerly and lay her softly on the great velvet sofa in the corner of the room.The others shot the portal izzy and Simon came through first arms intertwined Magnes second who brushed of his robes before running over to Alec and embracing him in a VERY tight hug. "Thank god your okay my little blue eyed shadow hunter" he cried there was a muffled squeak from Alec who was now wedged under Magnus thick arms and was starting to turn red.
"Magnes, please refrain yourself from murdering your boyfriend" she said with a laugh as she watched Alec gasp and fall to the floor as Magnus continued to fuss over him. Jace was kneeling by the sofa stroking Clarys hair whispering to her. "I'm so glad your okay" he breathed in slowly "I love you" he whispered and planted a kiss on Clary's forehead before turning to face the rest of the room."Issy?" he said a serious look crossing his face "I think you should tell them what you told me" Issy sighed and began to explain what happened. There was shocked silence. Alec was the first to speak up "so Valentine has the mortal weapons?" he said his voice flat. izzy nodded afraid of what they might say to her, would they be angry? "well we're screwed" sighed Magnus dramatically. "we are going to have to tell the clave" said Simon knowingly looking around at his friends Jace glared at him "no!" he shouted "jace, he's right" whispered clary "just give me a chance to do it first if we work together we can do it" Jace insured them. "okay" said Alex slowly as if questioning his answer "we might as well kill ourselves now" groaned Magnus looking ha,f heartedly at jace.
