The Sleepover

~time skip to Vance's house~

You guys walked inside. His mom was in the kitchen and spotted you guys.

Vance's mom: "Hey, Vance. Who's that?"

Vance: "It's Y/N. Do you not remember her?"

Vance's mom: "Ohh. Now I do. You look so different!"

You smiled.

Y/N: "Yeah. Just a few tweaks."

Vance's mom: "Well, I'm making dinner if you kids want any."

Vance: "Alright. But, is it okay if she stays the night tonight?"

Vance's mom: "Uh, sure. Not a problem. Just nothing fishy, alright?"

Y/N: "Got it."

Vance: "Okay. And you should probably tell your dad."

His gaze turned on you, soft but also neutral. You agreed, walking over to the phone that they had in the kitchen and dialing the number.

Terrance: "What?"

Y/N: "Uh, hey dad. Just wanted to let you know I'm staying the night at a friend's house tonight. Is that cool?"

Terrance: "Yeah, that's fine."

Y/N: "Sweet, thanks."

Terrance: "Yeah, yeah."

Y/N: "Kay, bye!"

Terrance: "Bye."

You then hung up the phone. After, you and Vance headed upstairs to his room. Upon entering his room, it was only a tad bit messy.

Vance: "Don't mind the mess. I just haven't gotten to cleaning yet."

Y/N: "You think this is bad? You should see my room."

Vance: "Cloths everywhere?"

Y/N: "Everywhere. And not just clothes, either. I think I have a few cups and plates lying around. And some trash."

Vance: "God, since when did you live like a pig?"

You ended up laughing and Vance joined you. You weren't offended in the slightest. You knew you had to clean up, but were too lazy to do so. You both sat on his bed, trying to come up with things to do for the time being.

Y/N: "Oh, I know! Let's play never have I ever!"

Vance: "Isn't that for little kids?"

Y/N: "No. Plus, who cares? It's fun!"

Vance: "Fine."

You both held up both of your hands. You started first.

Y/N: "Okay, never have I ever... gotten into more than 3 fights."

Vance put his finger down and so did you.

Vance: "Wait, are we talking physical or all fights?"

Y/N: "All fights."

Vance: "Okay. Uh, never have I ever snuck out."

You put a finger down slowly while giggling. He put his down too.

Vance: "When?"

Y/N: "Okay, so I snuck out to meet with a couple of my friends so we could just walk around town for a little bit. It was the summer of last year."

Vance: "So you just turned into a rule breaker, then? Must've been under my influence."

Y/N: "Sure, whatever. Why did you sneak out?"
