The Journey of the Beetroot Person

Chapter 2

Jane was wandering around, looking for someone to replace Natasha when she ran into an exact lookalike!

The lookalike seemed really scared after seeing a literal beetroot person but Jane just kidnapped her and called upon the Giant Space Spider.

"Good. You have found Ashley. Now you must bring her back to Natasha's planet, but be warned. Nobody must know that she is not Natasha, otherwise the world will fall apart and you both will likely die." The Space Spider explained, and suddenly Jane and Ashley found themselves back in Natasha's world.

Ashley was hesitant at first, but Jane trained her so she would pass as the Black Widow assassin and none of the other Avengers had any suspicions.

That was until two people from another universe came along.

The ginger haired woman introduced herself as Pepa, and the younger girl with short curly hair told everyone her name was Mirabel. Jane immediately knew she did not like Mirabel.

"Pepa and I come from a world called Encanto, where my whole family have magical powers! Like Pepa here can control the weather," Mirabel explained, and Pepa demonstrated by making it snow. "You see we came here because I want to become an Avenger!" Mirabel finished with a twirl.

"What are your powers?" Ashley/Natasha asked, and Mirabel answered sadly that she had none. Then the Avengers began to laugh at her.

"Well then you can't be an Avenger!" Thor told her.

"How about we recruit Pepa instead?" Tony asked, and they all agreed.

"But Pepa didn't want to be an Avenger, I did!" Mirabel shouted, tearing up.

But everyone started walking away from her, and she just stood there in fury.

A few days later Jane found Mirabel holding a knife to Pepa's throat.

"She got everything that I wanted! Just because I didn't get a gift, doesn't mean I should be excluded!" Mirabel exclaimed, and killed Pepa right there.

"You're so self centred, you brat." Jane told her, not really caring about Pepa, but knew Mirabel couldn't be trusted. And that she had so much flawed main character energy it wasn't even funny.

"You should be called Mirahell, not Mirabel. You think that because you're the main character you can just think everything's about you and not give anyone else screentime?" Jane asked Mirahell, and she just stood there dumbfounded.

"You're so mean! I should have been an Avenger!" Mirahell shouted, and then jumped out the window like Spider Man, fell flat on her face on the floor and ran away.

Jane told everyone that Mirahell was an Avenger level threat and they all went out looking for her, but after all the others had left, Ashley told Jane that she didn't actually like being Natasha, but that she wanted to go back to her planet and be with her boyfriend.

Jane knew that she couldn't go back, so she consulted the Giant Space Spider once more.

"You're right, Ashley cannot go back." The Spider said. "We must consult Bruno for this information. Go to the planet of Encanto, you will find him there." Jane nodded, but remembered the question she had been wanting to ask the Spider.

"Uh, eternal all knowing Spider, can I have a vehicle so I don't have to ask you to teleport me everywhere?"

"Sure," The Spider replied wisely, and in front of Jane appeared a potato ship, an advanced rocket ship that could travel between multiverses.

So Jane called Ashley and they all got into the potato ship to find the all knowing Bruno.
