The Beauxbatons Granger {On Hold}

Christmas day at Beauxbatons

Hannah's pov: The morning after the ball, I woke up at nine in the morning with a smile on my face. I sighed happily as I looked at my right ring finger where the rose gold promise ring sat. Today we were allowed to go to Village de Sorcellerie, which is the Beauxbatons Hogsmeade and is truly a beautiful as well as magnificent place. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I took a short fifteen minute shower before I got out. Wrapping my body in a towel, I waved my hand as my wet hair dried instantly. I then walked back to my dorm to see the girls getting up from bed or getting dressed for the day into casual clothes, seeing as we were on holiday for a few weeks. I greeted them as I got my outfit on for the day, which consisted of a light peach dress, red Mary-jane kitten heels with a light golden watch and a red purse paired with a cream cloak. I met up with the girls as we all walked out of the common room to see Fleur waiting for us.

Aries met us as we were all on our way to the Grand hall. "Добро утро, скъпа моя Бел" he whispered in my ear I heard Bianca giggling at his sentence. She was one of the very few who understood Bulgarian other than me, the rest of my friends however didn't. "Good morning to you too Aries. Will you be joining us for breakfast?" I asked him as we got to the doors of the Grand hall. He nodded as Bianca pulled me aside "You two are more lovey-dovey than usual, why?" She asked as I simply responded with "Maybe because the ring I'm wearing today is a promise ring that he gave me last night for an early Yule/Samhain present" she squealed quietly as she whispered "You two really are so adorable, let's see if the other girls will catch on or not shall we? With noticing the beautiful promise ring on your finger. Which by the way is really pretty" I decided to agree as we walked back to the girls and Aries.

Ethel, was the first to notice the ring on my finger as she questions "That ring is beautiful, Hannah. I've never seen it before, is it new?" I looked at the twins who sat on my left and right, as Aries gave a very discreet and barely there nod. "In a way, it is new. I got it as a Yule present from him as he attended the ball last night. A friend of his mother's who once owned the ring." I said as breakfast finished up and we were allowed to go to the carriage that would be taking us down to la Village de Sorcellerie.

The carriage ride was about twenty minutes to the quaint village. Both Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students were mingling in the village when we arrive. Aries stepped out as he helped the girls and I to get off the carriage. Ethel was in awe of the beauty the village held as she wandered off with Estella, Antonetta and Maria following her. Fleur wandered off to a gift shop, probably to buy Gabrielle, her sister, a gift. Bianca winked at the two of us as she walked off towards the village square, leaving me and Aries in the company of one another. I lead Aries to a little tea shop called "Madame Brankovsky's tea shoppe", at the tea shop we order hot chocolate with some Madeleines and two créme caramels. Once our delicious beverages are done, I ask the waiter who served us if we could take a to-go Madeleine biscuit order for our friends and he said yes.

Once we got the Madeleines, we met up with Bianca and the girls at the village square. "Hey guys" I said as I held up the bag of treats. Ethel asked "What are those, they look to be biscuits of some sort but what kind are they?" Bianca chuckled as she answered "Those, Ethel are a French type of dessert called Madeleines, they are shell shaped biscuits and have a soft cake like texture when you bite into it. Do you want to try one?" The second year girl nodded her head eagerly as I handed her one. "Well... Do you like it?" Aries asked as we walked back to the carriage, the girl nodded as we all laughed lightly. When we got onto the carriage, I handed out the biscuits as my friends dug into the delicious dessert beverages. Bianca sat with myself and Aries as Ethel lay dramatically on the floor of the carriage, claiming there was not enough space for her to sit. We got to the school after twenty minutes and just in time for lunch too.

After lunch was finished, I decided to go to the ballroom as my friends and boyfriend followed. I waved my hand as my outfit changed into a white long sleeve leotard with light pink tights and a powder blue skirt. Bianca did the same thing as her outfit changed to a black leotard with light pink tights and a light grey skirt. Aries and I chuckled at the irony of her being in a black leotard as I said "Supporting the ancient and noble house of Black, I see" Bianca looked down as she laughed, the rest of the girls laughing to once they figured it out. I went to the middle of the dance floor as I got into a starting position.
