Somewhere else in the expansive space that is the universe...

A planet parks into view. This planet seems to be made of pure energy and gives off a laminating yet mysterious vibe. A powerful magical creature stands on this luminous planet, looking up at the vibrant stars. She's feeling uneasy.

"I just hope they're alright... I am their grandmother, after all."

This creature speaking is none other than Verdona — an ancient Anodite, a being of limitless power and potential. All their capabilities aren't even seen yet; their power is only second to Celestialsapiens themselves.

"I get this horrible feeling that my family is in danger," she states, almost frantically.

"Are you alright, Grandmother?" Sunny asks. She is Verdona's granddaughter and Gwen/Ben's cousin.

"Oh, I'm fine, dear. I just got a bad feeling brewing on Earth. I sense trouble heading there at dangerous speeds."
"Oh, there's always trouble there. My cousins can take care of it."
"Yes, well... I hope you're right. Either way, I'm going to check it out."
"Wait, for reals? But we never go to Earth!"
"Yes, well, this time is different. I haven't had a premonition like this in centuries... perhaps even millennia."

"It's almost as if a new Anodite of immeasurable power is being born as we speak," Verdona said.

Sunny: "Wait, you make it sound like an Anodite is being created, but that can't be right. It just doesn't make sense — Anodites aren't made, they're born."
"Yes, what you say is true. Yet this premonition I feel is usually the case... I can't risk my family being in danger."
Sunny: "Well, I'm coming with you."
"No, you should stay here and continue your Anodite studies."
"They're my family too! And I want to help — even if you're wrong."

"Very well then," (chuckles) "You've matured somewhat, child."
Sunny blushes in her Anodite form.
"You're blushing, dear."
"Oh, shut up!"

They quickly vanish in space, heading toward Earth.

Back to Ben and Kevin

As they work in the outskirts of town, getting closer and closer to hacking the ultimate power, Kevin gives Ben orders from a distance.

"Alright, get the negative and positive energy from the car battery over there. We need some kind of alternative energy besides the Omnitrix for this to work. Now, if this goes well, you should hack right into the Omnitrix control."

A couple of seconds pass... and a strange and unfamiliar noise appears from the Omnitrix.
"Brrrrrp, blitz, beep."

"Uh... is it supposed to do that, Kevin?"
"Yeah no, that definitely shouldn't happen," he states, not knowing what to do.
"I'm gonna try the secret combination for Omnitrix commands!"
"Wait, don't! We don't know what'll happen if you do that now while it's malfunctioning!"
"But if I don't try this now, I may never defeat Vilgax. It's either this or lock myself in Alien X for good!"
"I hope you know what you're doing, Ben."
"You know I never do."

"Omnitrix override the lock, code 00001010."

A robotic feminine voice rings out from the watch:
"Access granted to wielder Ben Tennyson."

A light flashes — so blinding even Kevin has to shield his eyes. Seconds pass, and for a moment they think they failed...

But then something happens.

In a flash, all the possible aliens Ben could have had at his disposal were granted. All one million aliens — unlocked and ready to be used.

Ben smiles a victorious grin.
Finally, he succeeds.
Finally, he can stop Vilgax and the Forever Knights.
Finally, he can be the hero he was meant to be.

But in the moment of victory... shadow began to stalk in wait.

Something strange happened.

Ben's watch started malfunctioning — even more than before. Green lightning started to crackle and paint the area.

"Wh-what's wrong? What happened? I thought it worked!"

Kevin:
"I don't know either — but be careful! Something's wrong here!"

A few more seconds of green electricity until a voice made its way through:

"YOU HAVE ACTIVATED ALIEN LOCK. CURRENT DNA SHALL BE TERMINATED IN 10."

Kevin:
"Terminated!? What the heck's that mean!?" he states, panicked for his friend.
"Oh no, Kevin, what do I do? What do I do!!"
"I—I don't know! This never happened before!"
"Um, try removing the Omnitrix — that might work!"
"Alright, I'll try, I'll try — please work!"

"9... 8..."
