A/N

There will be a type of deep conversation in this chapter. So to make it easier for you (the reader) and myself.

I will make it into a type of screenplay dialogue. Any narration will be clear.

Enjoy!

Primarosa Dozorov's P.O.V

"D-don't hate me."

Alek surprises me by kissing the fingertips of my injured hands. "I would never," He whispers and proceeds to start looking through the first aid kit.

Primarosa:  "Why? You aren't disgusted mad or annoyed with me."

Alek: "Why would I be? A lot of people self-harm. Judging and criticizing you will only make it worse. Instead, I should try and pinpoint the reason for the action."

Primarosa: "I don't understand. You have no reason to stick around when you know I do something like this. Something as awful as this."

Alek: "I have one. Rosa. Love, please take it easy. Explain to me why you do this."

Alek starts wrapping Rosa's arm in new bandages and gently ties the ends in a small bow.

Then he moves on to disinfecting her other arm.

Alek: "One done. One more to go."

Primarosa: "Miles. He used to lock me up in that room. When I misbehaved or decided something without his approval during work. It was his way of trying to fix me. He used to say I was broken and he wanted to help me with that. Because he cared for me."

Alek abruptly stops for a moment before clearing his throat and continuing his work.

Primarosa: "He thought my ideology and morals are all wrong. He didn't like the way I was raised or how I acted."

Alek places a hand on Rosa's fidgeting hand. She looks at him with tears in her eyes. He smiles at her and caresses her hand with his thumb.

Alek: "You never deserved any of that. You shouldn't harm yourself because of what he did. If he knew, it would only make him satisfied knowing he did something to you."

Primarosa: "A lot happened in that room. Breaking the things inside gives me a feeling of relief. Like I am destroying a horrible part in my past."

Alek: "That's an effective way to deal with trauma: destroy something that connects you with it. Yet, you are physically hurting yourself in the process. It's almost like doing nothing."

Alek ties the ends in a neat bow and moves his hand down Rosa's arm. He reaches for her hand and intertwines their fingers.

Alek: "Please, Love."

Alek: "If not for yourself, then for me, Sia, Tiler, Pulina, Peteris, your mother and your uncle."

Primarosa: "Alek.."

Rosa throws herself forward and Alek catches her in his arms. They both fall on the rug beneath them.
