Alek Schneider's P.O.V

1:56 a.m. came and went as I patiently sat there waiting for Rosa to arrive. My parents along with Isaac took a walk with me. I left them at their hotel and proceeded to walk back to mine.

Now, I am sitting on the couch, only in damn grey sweatpants waiting for my soon-to-be wife to come home from work.

2:16 a.m. came and I finally heard the long-awaited sound of the hotel room door opening. I crossed my arms and quirked a brow at the woman who came in tip-toeing and holding her boots in her hands as she tried to be discrete.

"Well, Hello," I speak up and receive a nervous grin. She smiles and then places her shoes on the floor before coming to take a seat beside me on the couch.

"It was a long day today." She said before laying her head on my shoulder and sighing in contentment. "It's almost 2:30 a.m. Rosa." I speak with a harsh tone and receive a light exhale.

"I know." She whines lifting her head and turning to face me. "I tried making it earlier but I got caught up in so much work." She explained and I held my hand up.

She looked at me like I was an idiot and she just placed her hand on mine, intertwined our fingers and gave me a light peck on the lips.

"I apologize for the inconvenience." She whispered against my lips and I pulled her in for another kiss before letting go with a content sigh.

She giggled and stood up, heading towards the bedroom. "Where are you going?" I said following her and standing at the doorway.

She turned to face me with a smirk and shrugged, "Shower? I have been outside for more than fucking twelve hours. I am surprised how I am not dead yet." She said as she grabbed a couple things from the closet and went in the bathroom.

"Be back in 30 or so!" She shouted. "Be quick! I won't get a wink of sleep if you aren't by me." I shouted back and didn't recieve a reply. About a minute later, the sound of splashing water echoed through the bedroom and I heard a few mumbled sounds.

"What are you humming?" I ask loudly and wait for a response. I turned off all the lights except the bedroom's and the shower's of course. Then took my place in bed. I stretched out my arms and exhaled a deep breaths as I relaxed, Knowing Rosa is finally back.

About 20 minutes go by, when Rosa is out of the shower. Dressed only in some white shorts and a dark olive oversized T-shirt.

"So. How did your day go?" She asks and starts brushing her hair by the mirror on the wardrobe door. I only stare at her as she brushes her silk black hair gently then puts it up in an organized ponytail.

"Alek? Are you listening?" She turns to face me and places her hands on her hips. I flash her a toothy grin and pat the space beside me on bed. She rolls her eyes, but came and laid down beside me.

"My day was mostly great. There was one thing I was missing though." I said as I cuddled closer to Rosa and hugged her arm. I heard a dry chuckle however. One that snapped me out of bed straight.

"Did you know, I didn't get a notification saying you used my card. Which makes me wonder. Did you use my damn card like I told you to?" She speaks angrily. Her eyes were now dark and her face was blank.
