A lot can happen within a matter of weeks, but these past three weeks have been slow to hell. Bucky was right. I had to put a stand to it. Tell my side of things about Brock to the police. I still had the marks on my body, the anxiety and thanks to Vision and Wanda, they could back my story too. With Vision being a therapist and all, he gave his verdict of my mental health. It was hard to hear at first what he had to say but he was right all about it, how I can't sleep some nights due to fear of nightmares of him, my panic attacks, the anxiety I must have felt when I kept seeing him. Unfortunately, there's been no sign of him, however they keeping a lookout for him. I'm not let that bother me though, I can't stop my life because he is still out there, I refuse for him to have that control in my life again.

I wake up feeling a tad light than I have been in months. Steve's health has been improving despite of everything that's been going on these past few weeks. I start my day with a ride around the ranch with Blossom.

"Come on, h'yah!" I tag on her reins. Together we race across the plains, the windy, cool air whipping on my face. The sweet scent of wildflowers and the sun shining in the sky. My mind drifts to the day I first saw Bucky after all these years. How me and him started, who would think it all would work out? I mean so far. Steve doesn't know, but one thing at a time, I guess. I don't want to overdo it on him. I make my way along the edge of the property, watching as Bucky lets out a few horses. He tilts his hat at me as I softly smile and wave. With a flick of the reins, I take off toward the stables. I gently pat Blossom as I put her into her stall.

"Good girl." I wander down the stables, hearing a slight whistling tune coming from storm's stall. "Why, hello handsome?" I leaned against the door, crossing my arms. Bucky smiles, letting down storm hoovers as he walks up to me, placing a soft kiss on my lips.

"Doll, how was your ride this morning?"

"Good... Relaxing even. How's about you?"

"Good as I can be." Bucky reaches for my hand and softly sqeezes it. !Everything will be okay. We get this Rumlow business out of the way and then we can focus on telling Steve about us... I just don't want to stress you too much, y/n."

"I don't know what I would do without you Bucky." I cuddle into him. "I love you."

"I love you, too. Let's me finish up here with Storm and finish the chores and we grab lunch together."

"Sure but I was actually wondering if you could teach me a few things."

"Like what doll?" Bucky continue sorting Storm.

"Well barrell racing. I know it has nothing what you do but..."

"Why?" He chuckled.

"I want to see what makes you happy in doing rodeo's, I mean I want to learn more about you, what you do. Plus we get alone time."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, you'll be all hands over." I stand behind Buckyresting my hands on his shoulder. Massaging him. He softly moans.

"Barrel racing is a single rider doll, you know that, right?" I lean down to whisper in his ear as my hands unravel the knots in his muscles.

"You know me... I'm a very fast leaner." Bucky laughs and turns around to me, placing his hands around my waist.

"Ride well and maybe I'll reward you. Anyway you've been riding since you were a kid. With a little bit of training, I think you be a perfect competitor." He let's me go and shut Storm stall up behind us.

"Not as good as you but if you teach me all your rodeo tricks, maybe I can beat you." I poke my tongue at him.

"Perhaps not all of them but I got a few I could show you. Let's get blossom staddle up."
