Author's Notes (PLEASE READ)

Hello All : ) It's been 1 year and 9 months since I published the first chapter of this story. Crazy. I can still remember exactly where I was sitting when I began writing it all and jotting down notes. Can you all believe that I started writing this story BEFORE Tommy was exiled? Absolutely absurd. I can't even conceive that in my mind. Apparently, this story takes 13 hours or so to read, (according to Wattpad) which I seriously don't remember writing thirteen hours worth of chapters. I also think it's kind of funny to mention that I wrote multiple chapters while sitting in rehearsals, lmao. I think the thing that's craziest to me is the fact that there are 33k reads on this story? Holy shit, thank you all so much. I fully believed I would never get this far, and thought it would be a waste of time since no one would read it. But fuck, did I put time and effort into this story and it payed off. Not kidding, I swear I'm a professional in L'Manberg lore now because of how many streams I rewatched to make sure I got the iconic lines right. And the amount of support I got? Crazy. You all are amazing. I never thought about being a writer before this, and even now as a theatre major in college with zero talent, I feel like I have another passion and possible major to go into if I want to. I cannot express how much every comment, vote, and read means to me, and I love all of you. Please continue to support other fanfic writers, because before starting this story I didn't realize how hard they work to create content like this. I might still rewrite some of the earlier chapters now that it's done. The amount of times I was gonna give up on this story but I had promised myself to see it through and it was so worth it. There were a few plot points that didn't go anywhere that I was going to use, like the fact that Ranboo and Niki share the same mother but different fathers, meaning that Niki would be the daughter of the End Dragon. I just thought it would be cool if I did something with that but I ended up ditching the idea. I also never intended for Nix and Alyssa's friendship to be such an integral part of the story, but back when I started writing the only women on the server were Niki and Alyssa, and Puffy joined days later. I'm glad I did tho, and I'm still crossing my fingers that Alyssa rejoins the dsmp someday. If you guys have any other questions about the story or the writing process or just anything in general, please leave them in the comments. I love reading them and I'll answer every single one. At this point in time I'm not sure what I'll be writing next, I already have some half written stories up but I always lose motivation to continue them. I don't think I'll write a sequel to this since I feel like this story is finished, but I may change my mind.
