On the day of Kihyun's big day, Minhyuk excitedly follow after Jooheon to the venue. A little upset he's stuck in his black and white striped shirt and blue jacket, the clothes he died in. Even though no one would be able to see him, he wanted to dressed his best for his best friend's wedding.

"Joo, good, you're here" Kihyun said the moment Jooheon entered the room he was getting ready at. He trusted his phone into Jooheon's hands and went back to sit in front of the mirror where a stylist work on his hair

"For once, you look good Ki!" Minhyuk exclaimed, seeing his best friend in a white tux, still, evidently halfway done getting ready. Kihyun always looks good and formal but of course, Minhyuk have to always not say that. it's his job a best friend, but not today. He'll give him a backhanded compliment today,

"Tell that guy to stopped calling, I'm getting ready and he should too"  Kihyun's tone sounded annoyed on the surface, yet it was obvious he was over the moon.

"Hey Joo, is my groom ready?" Hyunwoo's voice traveled from the other line. The man had been calling the smaller since that morning, being so impatient which was unlike him. It seems like the excitement is getting to everyone. Except Jooheon, he's genuinely very happy for the two. But the thought of Minhyuk unable to witness such an important day pains him.

"Your groom is a perfectionist Hyung, you might as well get married next year"  Jooheon joked, he's trying extra hard on doing well in hiding his feelings. Kihyun and Hyunwoo's first attempt on getting married was postponed due to Kihyun being incredibly sad his best friend is not around, Jooheon didn't want to risk it again. Kihyun and Hyunwoo deserved this and he doesn't want to re-open any of their wounds just because his hasn't healed yet. He doubted it will ever heal.

Kihyun and Hyunwoo had a simple yet very classy garden wedding, which was quite a surprised to Minhyuk as he distantly remembered Kihyun making a face when he choose it for his and Jooheon's wedding. He recall Kihyun saying how he thinks it was overused but told Minhyuk if they want one they should do it as it was their wedding. But personally, he was firm he won't choose it. he want something extravagant and grand, not sweet and simple.

Did he choose to have a garden wedding because of me?

Minhyuk can't help but thought looking at the beautiful flower arrangements at the reception hall. Chrysanthemums, their birth month flower. Carnations, his favorite. white roses and orchids, Kihyun's favorite. The flowers may look ramdom choices but it was more thoughtful than one could think. Minhyuk may not be present in the event, But Kihyun made sure to keep him there in his own way. Minhyuk can't help but teared up at the thought. who would have known the boy who stole his chocolate chip cookies back in kindergarten would love him as much as this.

Minhyuk looked around, leaving Jooheon's side for a little bit. Not many people are there, he saw a few faces he knew but most of them he didn't.

Minhyuk smiles widely when he spotted his mother. He didn't saw her at the wedding ceremony, and for all those times since his funeral.

He skipped towards her like a kid "Eomma, how have you been?" He asked her, despite not being heard. He's happy to see his mother talking and smiling with the other guests. He's sure his mother hasn't forgotten about him and he's happy that despite that, she seems to move on. She looked genuinely happy and doing good. Minhyuk couldn't ask for more. He wondered if his father is also around. he would have to look for him too and see how he's doing.

Minhyuk circled his arms around her, despite being unable to actually hug her. "I love you, Eomma" he whispers to her ear.

The woman suddenly paused mid sentence, her hand going to rub her arm after goosebumps run through her body. She felt his presence, Minhyuk is sure she did and he blamed it on a mother's instinct.
