Minhyuk no longer keep track of time, which led to him having trouble thinking if time was actually going fast or slow.
The house has changed. The pictures was still on the walls and shelves, but now a few of where Changkyun is in are around too. The walls of the living room has changed from sky blue to lilac, the kitchen into a fun yet tacky swatches of yellows. And there are now four cacti by the window. A new bookshelf filled with books both Minhyuk and Jooheon will never read, few papers and candies left on the coffee table, and a new customed drawer filled with sunglasses in their walk in wardrobe, hats and neon lights decorating their bedroom walls. His art studio was turned into a music room, his paintings both finished and unfinished hanged on the wall like a gallery, his painting materials neatly displayed on one corner. The house now screams a perfect mixture of Changkyun and Jooheon with bits and pieces of what Minhyuk has left.
As days flies on, Jooheon talked and think less and less of Minhyuk, while Minhyuk grew more and more conflicted of his emotions. One moment he's happy but most he's sad. He hates himself for being so. Jooheon has finally found happiness again. He should be happy for him, and he is, but not so much.He can't find himself being happy that Jooheon is finally doing that one thing he himself couldn't, moving on. He felt scared, he fear that a day would come where he is forgotten. He is afraid of the thought that one-day, he'll cease to exist in Jooheon's mind and eventually, his heart. The space being replaced by Changkyun.
It was a ridiculous thought. He knows. But he can't help it.

With a soft smile on his face, he watches as Jooheon and Changkyun happily dance by the living room, Changkyun's loud laugh resonating as Jooheon spin him around many times, both almost stumbling as he did so, their dance not even corresponding to the rock song that was playing on the background. Minhyuk wasn't sure what the occasion was but they were having red wine and homemade steak, both in their sleep wears, clearly both a little tipsy. It looked like a silly combination of a sleepover and fancy dinner. It's their thing. Just like how picnic dates had been theirs.
He couldn't help but compare sometimes. The outdoor dates they had, had been fun and adventurous. It was a perfect mixture of exhausting and refreshing, full of excitement. While the indoor dates Jooheon and Changkyun share are also fun but calm. It was far more private and intimate, it was kinda like a way of resting with eachother's presence. He never thought a borderline burnt stake would be so romantic. He wished he tried more stuff with Jooheon. He had always been so adventurous yet he didn't exactly explore. They went to many places but never did other things. He found one that he likes and sticked with it. Makes him think if Jooheon had loved all those things they did together or if he just did because it was something Minhyuk enjoyed. He wonder if he likes all these things he does with Changkyun more.
Minhyuk's smile falters as it always does when Jooheon captured Changkyun's lips. The younger let out a giggle as their lips separate, before it met again. This time in a more deeper and feverish kiss.
Minhyuk pursed his own lips and looked down, unable to watch. He's happy for them, he tells himself. He just can't bear to see Jooheon kiss someone else. He can't move to leave and give them the privacy they thought they have. It was as if he was glued to his place.
Changkyun and Jooheon continued to share a passionate kiss, completely loss with each other. One moment they were standing in the middle of the living room and the next Changkyun has his back laid on the couch with Jooheon on top of him. Changkyun gasped as Jooheon moved from his lips and down to his neck, fingers starting to unbutton his pajama shirt.
Minhyuk's hands balled into fist and felt a sudden urge of emotion jab through him. Without anything else happening, the wine glass that was innocently on the coffee table exploded into tiny pieces. This prompted Changkyun and Jooheon to stop, both surprised of the sudden incident.
