Abby POV:

Finn and I were standing outside in the hallway so that Jack and Alexis could have their privacy and Finn and I could have our privacy. I walked Finn to the elevator and we were waiting for Jack. I was so happy when I saw Jack and Alexis kissing in the elevator. I knew he liked her and that was proof to her that he liked her! She is going to get an earful when I get back to the room on how I was right.

“What are you thinking about?” Finn asked interrupting my thoughts. He was smiling down at me and I felt my cheeks turn red. Oh the things this boy could do to me.

“I am thinking about how I was right.” I answered him with pride.

He looked confused, “Right about what?” He asked

“Right about Jack liking Alexis.” I answered smiling at the thought again.

“Oh yeah, that was a no brainer.” Finn said back laughing.

“Yeah, Alexis thought he didn’t like her.” I said also laughing.

“Really? I thought it was kind of obvious, but I am his twin brother.” Finn said whilst pulling me into him.

“Yeah I knew he did. It was kind of obvious.” I said putting my head on his shoulder. He smelled so good, I wish he didn’t have to leave. But at least I am spending the day with him tomorrow.

“So where are we going tomorrow?” I asked looking up at him.

“It is a surprise” he answered smiling down at me.

“I hate surprises.” I said. I don’t like surprises. I like to know what is going on and every detail. It bothers me when I don’t know.

“Well to bad.” He said back. I was about to object when he kissed me. He was such good kisser, I could kiss him forever.

“Do you mind!” I heard someone yell from down the hall. I shot my head around ready to give whoever said that a death stare when I saw Jack walking towards us. Oh he is lucky. He would have gotten one nasty stare.

When he got to us I could see the how happy he was. He must really like Alexis considering how happy he looks. I looked up at Finn who was shaking his head at his brother, but when I looked back at Jack you could tell that he did not care about anything. He was in his own happy world and nothing could change that.

“Alright, well we better get going. We will see you both tomorrow at 6 in the morning.” He had to remind me. Finn gave me a kiss and walked into the elevator. Before the elevator doors closed I saw Finn wink at me and it sent tingles down my spine. Ugh, he was amazing.

When I got back to the room I heard the shower on and Alexis was sitting on her bed looking down. At first I thought she was crying until she looked up at me smiling. I was relieved when I saw that she was smiling. I sat down on the bed next to her and she rested her head on my shoulder. “I feel like this is all a dream.” She whispered to me.

“But it isn’t. This is all real, all very real.” I answered resting my head on hers.

“So you want to know what happened?” She asked.

“Yes, give me every detail.” I said turning my body towards her.

She gave me every detail. From the first interruption with her mom calling, to the girl in the café, to the elevator, she told me everything. Her smile never faded and she had so much energy it was insane.

“Wow. That is crazy!” I said giving her a hug.

“What is crazy?” Alexis mom asked. I didn’t even here her come out of the bathroom.

“How much food I ate. I ate a lot today.” Alexis said saving herself. I saw her mom roll her eyes and shake her head. She hated when Alexis ate a lot of food, which was weird to me because her mom was a famous chef person thing. Eh who knew.

“Oh yeah and mom we are going to be out all day tomorrow, okay?” Alexis said going over to her suit case.

“Where are you girls going?” Her mom asked sounding suspicious.

“Out with Jack and Finn.” Alexis answered walking into the bathroom and she closed the door. She did this a lot. Half way through a conversation she would go into a different room or something.

Her mom turned to me, “Where are you girls going to with Jack and Finn?” She asked sitting down on her bed.

“We don’t know, they wouldn’t tell us.” I explained. She looked a bit concerned and I knew she didn’t like the idea.

“Well you are both 18 so I can’t stop you.” Her mom said back to me. I felt a rush of relief flow through me. Just then Alexis walked out of the bathroom with her pjs on.

“We better get some sleep considering how early they are coming.” Alexis said walking over to her bed. She grabbed her phone and plugged it in to her charger and laid down.

“So are you really going to go to sleep or are you going to play Temple Run until dawn?” I asked grabbing my phone ad plugging it into my charger. Alexis never fell asleep right away, she always stayed up until she was dirt tired then went to bed.

“No, I am going to go to sleep.” Alexis said as she turned over to look at me. She looked happy, really happy. But that would fade soon because that is what always happened. She would be happy for a bit then something would happen and she would become sad again. I didn’t understand it, and neither did Alexis but it happened, a lot.

“Alright Alexis, goodnight.” I said closing my eyes. As I drifted off I heard Alexis turn on Temple Run and I smiled to myself. Something’s never change.
