Prologue (3rd POV)

When the day started, Rose knew it was going to be a bad day. It was like a hurricane was brewing in her gut, but it was a school week and he had to go to school. She was used to the bad days. Even if she was a second year.

She packed extra supplies for each item, since they would end up broken or stolen and a uniform in case her bullies were mad once again. She also brought the clothes that she sleeps in and puts it in the bag, after changing into the uniform for school. The only thing left in the warehouse that was not in her bag was the thin mattress she sleeps on. Luckily, the trip to school from the warehouse she lived in was uneventful. She entered the classroom only a minute before the bell rung, so the students couldn't do anything. Even if they did harm her, the teachers would turn a blind eye or join in the fun themselves.

The day went on normally, students tripping her in the halls, classmates taking her extra supplies (the ones she wasn't using), ruining or taking her lunch (a bar at best), all things she would consider normal. If things were normal in the first half of school, then it means the end will always be worse. Shida Kamoson and his lackies would beat her up after school, and she would have to pickpocket others, so she could get money to buy the first aid supplies and food.

Kamoson's quirk is where he can coat his hands with ice or lightning, and he can hit harder the more ice or lightning coats his hands, but it uses energy to fuel the element that he chooses. He could actually try and use a small amount of ice but change the temperature of it, but he is too dumb to realize this, so he also wastes energy as well. He does know how to use the boost of strength without the lightning , but it is not that much of a boost.

Normally, the bad feeling on most days didn't feel like she needed to barf, so she doesn't use a small recording camera that uploads onto a cloud from a phone she repaired from a dumping ground. Today, however, she was prepared and had the camera turned on. The teacher announced that both Kamoson and Rose wanted to go to U.A. University to the class. "WHAT!!! How would a F*cking weak quirkless b*tch dare to attempt to go U.A.!! I'm the only one who truly is allowed to go to U.A. After all I'm the most heroic one here." Rose starts to wave her hands, "No y-you go-ot-t it-t wrong. I just w-wanted to go i-into G-gen E-ed so it looks good on my r-resume". He starts to charge up his quirk in his hands. The teacher finally interrupts, "Now Kamoson, I need to continue my lesson, so can you sit down?" he tchs and sits down.

Once the bell rings, Rose tries to pack up as fast as she can, but Shida takes the one notebook she didn't put away yet. "So, you think you could just go to the school I'm destined to huh? Oh? Look at this, Costume ideas for others: Volume 2." The notebook has ways to improve not only heroes' quirks, but also their costumes as well, so their weaknesses are covered. It also has quirk analysis of civilians as well.  Luckily, it was actually an empty notebook just only with the title on the cover, since she was going to transpose the info from a more beaten notebook. He uses his quirk and sends it out the window into the pond. "Hey, I have to pay for that." Rose whimpers out "Don't you dare try and get in my way. After all a quirkless nobody like you could amount to anything in life. So, worthless b*tches like you should sell your body to be useful or take a swan dive off a roof and hope for a quirk in your next life." He then uses his quirk on me as well, slapping me with his enhanced strength and then giving me a small electrical burn with his quirk. He and his posse leave laughing.

Rose stands there for a minute and then realized what just happened. Rose walks out of the school after getting her bag and heads to the pond. She goes to look for the book only to see the cover melting and all the pages burnt. Rose sighs and heads over to the nearby park and writes all of her injuries down in her notebook that contains all of her injuries from school and which classmates did it. She also writes down what day she gets spider lilies, or things saying to kill herself in it, so she adds that Kamoson told her to take a swan dive today. She takes the recording device and turns it off making sure it had connected to the cloud already. She put the phone in the notebook at the very end and uses a scrap of fabric she found in her bag (stole a shirt but cut it up) (had to use most of the cloth like makeshift bandages) and tied it together in a knot. She made sure that she used a piece of the ruined notebook and wrote for 'The True Man'.

She started to walk towards the mall, grabbing enough yen from others-dumping the wallet after taking the money-so, she could get a med kit, a few days' worth of food. However, before she could go into the mall, she heard an explosion followed by screams. She looks around and is met with the sight of devastated buildings and people running away, Rose was about to ask what happened or run away, but the next explosion was closer, so much closer. She was hit with a bunch of heat from the blast but was able to roll out of the way of falling debris that almost caught her leg. When she was able to see clearly, she saw a woman trying to get her leg unstuck, a man on the floor, unconscious or dead, and a child curled up in a ball. Rose used a lot of energy to move to the sobbing child, it was a small girl with green hair, wide eyes, and frog-like features. "Hey shh it's alright" Rose whispers trying to calm the girl.  she sniffles "I w-want my m-momma" Rose asks, "Do you know where she is?" The young girl shakes her head " I got lost so I walked away to try to find my mom and siblings." Rose sighs, "I got you, and I will protect you." Rose prepares to pick her up. "Hey, if I ever disappear, while we are searching for your family, can you try and keep my bag safe?" Rose gives the girl her bag so she can carry the child. The small girl nods but asks, "Why?" Before Rose could answer or pick up the girl she hears rumbling, so she protects the young child by quickly encasing her with Rose's body, before all she knew was black after the third explosion.
