DISCONTINUED: The Returning Feelings (SonAmy)

Chapter 8

"The food was fantastic. I love it." Amy smiled as we walked side by side with Sonic.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it! I had to look for a decent diner here just to make sure they're up to your taste!" Sonic grinned at Amy.

It was now already 5 o clock in the evening and both hedgehogs has a smile on their faces. The silence between them is comfortable.

Just as they were about to turn left, damaged structures caught Amy's attention. Her steps were reduced whilst her gaze is locked towards the said structures. Abruptly, a wave of memories flooded her mind giving her a massive headache. Clutching her head, she closed her eyes tightly while trying to get rid of the ache. Her surroundings are starting to get blurry as she reached out her other hand hoping to find something that will support her.

Sonic, who hasn't noticed Amy was not on his side kept whistling, eyes closed, and thinking about how this day went well.

(Animations, what can I say? They can always walk with their eyes closed.)

Amy's hand felt cold metal against her palm. She immediately grips it tightly and took a few steps closer for support. Once she reached the lamp post, she opened her eyes only to be welcomed by the destroyed part of the city. Memories flooded her mind.

Shattered metal was everywhere, the lying bodies of the people she couldn't recognize, a helicopter at the side, a flying robot and a black figure fighting in the air, and lastly, a blue hedgehog being attacked by what seemed to be a flying robot who has the same color as her.

All these memories make her feel confounded. She starts catching her breath, and her forehead started sweating. Without her realizing it, she's losing consciousness.

"So Ames, where else do you want to go?" Sonic asked and got no response. When he opened his eyes and look to his side, Amy was not with him. He was alarmed and darted back to where they went and saw her falling. Without a second thought, he dashes toward her, catching her now unconscious body.

"Amy! Amy! Wake up! What happened!?" He cried out frantically. Sonic instantly carried Amy in his arms and sprinted towards his buddy's home.

"W-what happened to Amy!?" Sonic rapidly stood up once he saw his buddy exit his room. 

He bought Amy to the person he thought could help him.

Tails.

He barged to his front door and asks for Tails' help. Tails, on the other hand calmly asks Sonic to place Amy on his bed as he tries to figure out what was wrong. Sonic placed Amy down on his bed and plan to sit on the other side, only to be pushed out by Tails from his room.

Sonic had to sit in the living room while waiting for his buddy.

"Sonic, I won't be so sure about my finding since I am not a doctor. But I assumed she saw something that made her fall unconscious. I cannot tell what it is exactly. Nevertheless, I speculate it is about her memories." Tails said worriedly to Sonic.

"But, why now? This is so sudden." Sonic frowned as he stared at his room door.

"I can't answer as well, Sonic. We'll only know the answer once she wakes up." Tails shook his head sadly.

Okay. I'm not sure about this idea, but I plan to recreate this into a comic once I'm free from my work. For now, let me finish this book and I shall inform you about this idea!
