Today is the day we're telling Zamires mother I'm pregnant, now hear me out I'm not scared of anyone or anything but I would never want him to be disowned from his pother because I know what it is like and I don't wish that upon anyone.
" you ready" his voice brings me out of thoughts " yeah" I breath out . Today We are all matching yeah I know the bad girl has gone soft but I can say my princess looks so cute in her light brown sweatpants and her black hoodie.
I pick her up and place her on my hip " you ready to go" she smiles at me which calms my nerves a bit . We head out the door " are you sure she won't get mad " I ask Zamire as he locks the door " she won't now calm down you dont need to stress yourself out" .
We simply walk to the car " I will put miss princess in her car seat , you just relax " Zamire grabs Natalia from me . I get into the passenger seat and close my eyes ' it's okay if he leaves me I can handle it ' I say to myself .
I hear the door close and the engine start " Princess do you want some chips " Zamire asked Natalia and she screamed yes . I smile and opened my eyes " what about you mama " he hands me a bag of potato chips " thank you " I open the chips and start to eat them .
We are pulling into his drive way " Wow" Natalia says in the back " yeah your right wow " i gawk at his house "dam I didn't know you were rich " he smiles .we get out the car and walk to the door , Zamire was Carrying Natalia and I was carrying well nothing.
Zamire put his key in and we walked in " Ma I'm home " he shouts and we hear a bark then a giant bear comes over " bear" Natalia says " no no princess this is coco she is a dog " he puts her down on the ground .
Natalia goes up to coco " Hi co" coco licks Natalia's face and she begins to giggle " I think she likes you princess " Natalia looks back with the biggest smile I have ever seen . Then a beautiful tall lady walks in the room with an apron on her waist " Hello my baby boy " she grabs Zamires face as he rolls his eyes .
" ma " he groans " and who is the beautiful young lady next to you " she comes to me " I'm miss Morgan but you can call me Luna " she smiles at me " I'm Zoelin but you can call me Zoe " . She looks down and see Natalia playing with coco " and who is this cutie " she bends down to Natalia's height.
" hi mine name is Natalia " Natalia smiles at Luna " well it's nice to meet you Miss Natalia my name is Luna , do you want a cookie " of course Natalia shakes her head like a crazy person and shouts yes .
We all laugh " is it okay if I gif ever one , they have no peanuts in them " I nod . Natalia puts her arms up for Luna to grab her so she swifts Natalia off the ground and takes her to the kitchen.
" See my mom isn't so bad " he whispers in my ear " well we haven't told her yet " i glare at him " it's going to be okay " he grabs my waist and we walk to the kitchen . " how many do you want I won't tell your mommy " I hear " 1 2 3 4 5 " Natalia counts in her hand " okay but don't tell " .
I look at Zamire " now I know where you got it from " he laughs and that caught there attention. She quickly hide Natalia behind her " so Zoelin tell me about her self " I grin " Natalia I have ice cream " she turns around with 5 cookies in her hand and chocolate all over her face .
" about that - " I laugh " it's fine your son does the same thing but blames Natalia " she laughs to . I sit down at the kitchen island and look at Luna . She notices the change of mood and calms down " what is it dear " she grabs my hands " listen I'm going to be straight forward with you , I'm pregnant " I close my eyes because I was waiting for the name calling or even yells but I opened my eyes and see her tearing up .
" I understand if you want me to stop seeing your son , I mean he is 17 and I turn 17 in a couple days and we still in high-" by my surprise she grabs me and pulls me into a hug . " it's okay Zoelin calm down " she rubs my back as I sit there in shock . " your not mad?" I question her she shakes her head no " I'm not mad , excited actually but how will you finish school and take care of the baby" she asked .
Before I could say anything Zamire answers for me " we're both doing online and I was thinking about moving in with her " he scratches the back of his neck . " You better " she said which made me laugh " oh what are you going to do about coco you know she loves you " Luna looked at coco then at Zamire .
" co" Natalia shouts " I was thinking of bringing her with us " Luna smiled then looked at me " I'm super excited am I surprised that it happened " she smirk " no but I will always be here for you, Natalia and this bundle of joy that is coming into this world " .
I started to tear up , it makes me said that Natalia doesn't have a grandma or anyone special in her life and now this baby will . I just wish my mother would have just accepted the fact of what happened but still wanted to be apart of her life instead she was out doing drugs and coming home drunk .
" oh sweetie what's wrong " Luna comes to me but I shake my head no " it's nothing " I wipe the tears away . But Zamire senses something and grabs my hand " what is it " he asks " it's just this baby is going to grow up with a loving grandma and Natalia doesn't have that " i look down .
" oh honey I consider Natalia my grand child already,and you , your apart of this family " i hugs her " thank you " I whisper in her ear .
We talk for a little and of course Luna was already planning a baby shower which I told her ok but she waved me off . So now we are heading home with a new addition to the family coco . She is in the back with her head on Natalia's lap while Natalia plays with her ears . I look down at my stomach and smile ' mama loves you ' I whisper and rub my stomach.
We make it home and coco already made her self comfortable on the couch " Alright what are we eating I'm starving " Zamire stretches his arms . I can't help but look at his stomach as his shirt raises .
He clears his throat then smirks " like what you see " he walks to me " no " I look away and smirk . He kisses my forehead then kisses my stomach"love you mama and I love you little potato chip " he looks up at me and smiles .
I grab his face and kiss him " I" kiss " want" kiss " pizza" kiss . He grabs my face " oh " kiss " okay " kiss , he walks over to the pantry and start to get the ingredients to make homemade dough.
••• The pizza is finally done and now we're all sitting in the couch watching another ocean documentary because Natalia loves these . " mama da da " Natalia calls us " yes princess " Zamire answers as I'm still chewing " what's baby " she asked .
" baby is in mamas tummy just like you were " Zamire rubs my stomach " can I rub " she asked and I nodded . Zamire places her on his lap and she starts to run my stomach " your baby brother or sister is in there " I say and she smiles . " boy " she says " we'll see " I say and take another bite of my pizza .
We finish the pizza and now we're just watching tv in our room while Natalia is knocked out , I'm laying between Zamires legs and he is rubbing my stomach . It's so calming that I'm falling asleep " good night mama " he kisses my forehead and I fall asleep.
