after a long tedious day at work, you were abundantly relieved to head back home.
while following the usual path to your home, you scavenged your handbag for a granola bar due to the rumbling in your stomach.
it truly was times like these that you wished you had bought a car for more convenience. but luckily, the bus stop wasn't far.
as you continued walking, you heard someone call your name from behind, causing you to promptly halt in your steps.
you turned around, with your hand still being inside the bag. "huh?"
two individuals approached you, one giving you a jubilant smile while the other seemed as if she was dragged along by the other.
they were both fairly shorter than you and also had lady-like figures.
one had fairly long jet black hair with streaks of magenta, accompanied by white ribbons. she wore a short black dress, white socks that went up to her knees, and black mary jane shoes.
the other lady had long ashy blonde hair tied into two pigtails dangling down each shoulder. and unlike the other, she wore a longer white dress with white heels. she appeared much less friendlier than the other.
"she seems different than i expected," the blonde whispered to the other, leaving you unable to hear them.
"how so?" the other whispered back.
"she seems far more frail than i presumed."
"i don't know about that, she seems vigorous to me."
"appearances alone don't always speak the full truth."
"perhaps you're right."
you raised a brow as the two finally made it to where you were standing.
"how do you know my name?" was the first question you asked.
the two exchanged a quick glance, before the black headed one smiled at you.
"right. you don't know us yet," she uttered. her voice had an eerie aura that you couldn't help but feel unsettled by.
you patiently waited for her to further elaborate before saying anything else.
"hmm before we introduce ourselves, we should head to a more appropriate location. let's go over to that café, if that's fine by you." she suggested as she pointed at the mentioned café.
