⁴ Promise

Jungkook knew whatever feelings he has cannot be deemed as love yet. He had heard from Namjoon that the latter had went to so many dates with several people before committing to Seokjin.

Jungkook never felt even a minuscule of attraction towards anyone let alone went for a date. He always wanted to give his everything to a single person and doesn't want to treat him simply as one of his options but the single best decision and wanted to be linked for Eternity.

Looking at the person who is adorably munching on the strawberries Jungkook had brought, he knew he has made the best decision in loving the pretty male.

" Why are you smiling ? Is there something on my face ?" Taehyung pouted. He has overcome his stuttering stage after being in a time to time conversation with the scary CEO.

Mrs Kim left them telling she needs to settle some legal matters as soon as Taehyung woke up. Jungkook tried his best to look unbothered when he saw the boy in a white Celine top showing off his tempting collarbones and butt fitted shorts. Even though it was physically painful for Jungkook to continue staying there, he does want to enjoy the other's presence to its fullest. They both reveled in each other's company.

Taehyung is older than Jungkook by one year. He is waiting to be admitted in Extravaganza as a contemporary fashion designer. He never attended the university as he was homeschooled and later attended online classes. Jungkook concluded it might be the reason for his anxiety with strangers as he never had a social life or friends except Jimin.

Is it because of his fragile body that he didn't attend school, Jungkook thought.

His thoughts got interrupted by Jimin's sudden call which ended in Taehyung opening the door for the smaller grey head to get inside. Jimin was surprised to see Taehyung being casual with the scary male, which how the pretty had described Jungkook to Jimin.

"Park Jimin. Tae's best friend."

"Jeon Jungkook" Tae 's future husband.

Both of the male had a small chit chat while Tae was busy finishing the fruits. Jimin caught Jungkook staring at his best friend almost every time.

Jimin excused Jungkook to meet him outside leaving Taehyung to get done with the laundry.

"I don't know why Kimchima let you stay with him all alone. If she did, I want to trust her but still I'm warning you Jeon. Wiggle your tiny finger towards Taehyung I will make sure there would be nothing left in you to move." Jimin very calmly deadpanned which made Jungkook happy in a different way.

" I'm not fooling around nor I have any bad intentions towards Tae. I kind of like him. Don't ask me why because I'm also trying to figure out." Jungkook's earnest eyes itself served as the witness for his honesty and fondness.

"Okay .Since I'm here, you can go now." Jimin said with a smile.

"Oh ! Can't I spend a little more time with him?" Jungkook asked pleadingly.

" Maybe another day. I want him to concentrate on his upcoming interviews ."

"Jimin, may I know why he had never been to school or university?" Jungkook asked anticipating silence.

After a short frown Jimin answered .

"Since Kimchima believes you , she might have told or you already recognized that Tae is an intersex. He was born that way and his family accepted him the way he is but our society was and still is fucked up Jeon. People made fun of him and bullied him. It went to its extreme when one of the teachers undressed him out of curiosity and deemed him to be a research material. Tae was only seven years old back then." Jimin chugged in a rough voice.

"He never told anyone not even me for why the teacher was taking him to the staff room after the classes. He always came back drowsy. I can bet he himself couldn't figure out what was the other doing to him. One day I followed him and found out he was manipulating Tae's body by knocking him off with some short term anesthesia. I shouted and gathered others. That was the last day for both of us to see that goddamn school. That teacher was put behind bars. He didn't really molest him physically but collected Tae's blood and serum for some experiments." Jimin heaved a long sigh thinking about the struggle he went through to convince his parents to let him stay with Taehyung.

Jungkook felt a sudden urge to hug Jimin and he followed his mind.

"Thank you chimmy" Jungkook said with the earnest gratefulness

" You don't have to thank me. Tae looks up to me as his knight in shining armour. I have been living not to disappoint him in any ways which justify my warning to you. So please don't hurt him Jeon." Jimin said while hugging him tightly "and..please don't call me chimmy." They both laughed.

" The boy had gone through so many adversities. Gender problems, social anxiety, death of his parents. I want him to be happy. I don't even know why am I telling you all this noticing that you are still a stranger to us." Jimin giggled silently.

" I will never disappoint him or you. It's my promise." Jungkook managed to say while sinking through his emotions.

Both of them retreated after a while.

Jungkook immediately left after getting a call from home, asking Jimin to say bye from his behalf to Taehyung.

" He went ?"

" that's what I just said ."

" Didn't he ask for my bye bye hug ?" Taehyung asked with a pout.

" What !!! Why are you offering him a hug ? You never gave me one." Jimin too pouted nudging Taehyung's arms.

" You never asked for one ." Taehyung shrugged before settling on the couch with packets of chips and a bottle of coke.

" Oh really alien, so he asked for a HUG and you gave him one. So what about I-don't-want-anyone- to-touch-my-boobies agenda?" Jimin said in a serious tone to which Taehyung gasped and hit him on his face.

"You shameless piece of little shit."

Then there occurred a small wrestling competition whose casualties were taken care of after the arrival of Mrs Kim.
