Case #1: Emily Waters (Part Two)

I froze for a second when she said the body just "disappeared". No body could disappear that early but I also know how much trouble Victor and I could get if we went to the Redwood's Ocean and try to find more evidence and I didn't want to put Victor in it unless he was down with it.

I'm writing down all the information that Evelyn is giving me. I look down at my watch and see it's 3:28pm. It's either I could do this today or never because I'm having a family day with my family tomorrow. So without hesitation, I called Victor and he said he'll be right over.

15 mins go by and I'm talking to Evelyn and she's hears a knock on the door. She looks at me and gets up and it's Victor with his special black bag. He carries the bag every time he thinks that we are doing an important trip. Victor introduce himself and we ask Evelyn do she wants to come with. She hesitates but took a deep breath and grabs her purse and we head out the door.

Now, I'm in Victor's car. Victor in the drive seat, I am in the Passenger seat and Evelyn in the back scrolling through her phone. While driving, Victor puts his hand on my inner thigh and grabs it. I start blushing a bit and looks at him. God, if Evelyn wasn't in this car there's isn't no telling what me and Victor would of done in the backseat. But I have to keep my focus and then a notification popped on my phone and it was Victor.

"Are you okay love?" The message said. My heart stopped beating for a second while my brain clutters with the thought of calling me "love". I never heard Victor call me love before. My body starts heating up like crazy and I feel my body warm up but I decided to ignore my thoughts and texted him "I'm ok my love." After I sent the message, He looked at me and I looked at him dead in his eyes. We both knew we wanted each other very badly but couldn't because we were both too focus on this case.

Maybe someday or tomorrow maybe I can give him what he wants...
