“Is she ever going to wake up?” A mysterious voice asked.
“I don’t know, she hasn’t woken up since the fall.” A deeper voice replied.
“Hey. Ali, are you going to wake up?” The person who first spoke asked me, but I couldn't respond.
I couldn’t tell who any of the voices belonged to, but the last voice sounded so familiar. It was maddening, I knew I should know who it was, but I couldn’t remember. I tried to lift my head and open my eyes to see who was talking to me, but my head wouldn’t move and my eyes wouldn’t open. I could only lay there… feeling helpless as I couldn’t do anything else.
