Museum Movie Night

As the whole museum woke up for the night, all of them were excited. Larry promised that tonight would be a movie night, and Nicky was coming along too. No-one knew what the movie was going to be, so they all rushed to the lobby, wanting to know what the movie was going to be. Octavius and Jedediah walk alongside the rest of the miniatures, so they arrive a little later than the larger exhibits, because of their size. When they get into the lobby, Larry is there waiting for them both.

"Hey guys," Larry says while letting them climb onto his hand, "I have your car in front so you can sit on it, and I have pillows for the rest of the miniatures to sit on."

Larry brings the two of them over to their car, with a blanket stretched on the top and lowers them onto the car. Once the roman and the cowboy say their thanks to Larry, they sit down in the car, wrapping the blanket around them. Once everyone is settled down, both Larry and Nicky head upfront. Larry hands Nicky the movie and Nicky puts the movie in. The movie starts and the exhibits realize that they haven't seen this movie before. It seemed to be in stop motion, and had a blue-haired girl as the main character. Jedediah was really invested in the movie, but Octavius was getting really tired. He had trained his men really hard the night before, and didn't get any rest.

"Are you okay honey?" Jedediah questions when he looks over at Octavius.

"I'm fine, my love, just tired." Octavius replies back, stifling a yawn.

"How about you take a nap, you can lay down on my lap. You don't seem really interested in the movie anyways."

The two of them adjust, so the roman has his head on the cowboy's lap, and the cowboy drapes the blanket over the two of them. The roman slowly closes his eyes and drifts off to sleep.

When the roman wakes up, he looks around. The movie was over and everyone seemed to be gone except Jedediah. Jedediah was running his hands through Octavius' hair gently. Octavius turns and looks up at Jedediah.

"Did you have a good rest, honey?" The cowboy questions, voice low.

"I did, my love. Would it be alright if we rested together at my house for the rest of the night though? I don't know if I still have much energy." The roman replies.

"Of course."

After a short car ride back to the Hall of Miniatures, Jedediah and Octavius are walking through the roman diorama to Octavius' house. They are holding hands while doing so, because Jedediah had gotten a lot better at physical affection after they had started dating. They finally make it to Octavius' house, and let themselves inside. They lay down on the couch and start to cuddle.

"Was the movie good?" Octavius questions softly.

"Really good, but a little scary at some points, but I liked it." The cowboy responds.

"Well as long as you liked it, that is all that matters."
