One day at school,  when Natalie was 10 years old,  she met 2 girls in her new class.  One is named Marie,  and the other is Clara.  Marie has short blonde hair,  and Clara has long brown hair that's always tied into a low ponytail.  Natalie met the girls when she was climbing the fence to leave the school.  "What are you doing?  Why are you trying to climb the fence?"  Marie asked.  "None of your business!"  Natalie snapped.  "Hey now,  the girl was just trying to ask a question,  kid!"  Clara responded.  Natalie huffed and puffed,  then she finally reached the top of the fence and sat there.  "Sorry,  I just wanted to see if I could climb over and get my stick back.."  Natalie stated.  "Your stick?"  Marie asked.  "Yea..  you wouldn't understand,  but I'm convinced that stick important for killing ghosts!"  Natalie said.  The two other girls looked at each other with wide smiles.  "If you want,  we can help you kill the ghosts!!"  Clara said.  Then all three of them introduced themselves,  and helped Natalie retrieve her stick.  Then they played a game of ghost hunting and broke the stick,  sealing the ghost's deaths forever.  Ever since that day,  the three of them were inseparable!  They were always searching for supernatural beings around the school,  and made up creating ways for banishing them.  Aunt Selene was happy to see her niece coming home with a smile on her face,  since that used to be a rare sight.  Instead of asking for stories,  Natalie would share her own,  and even bring the weapons for defeating ghosts as trophies.  Selene would keep every little trophy she brought home and would keep them in a box for safekeeping.

When the three friends turned 11 years old,  they would get into even more trouble at school.  They would climb the fences,  throw things at people,  and go into out of bounds places.  And these were all to attack or dea feat these imaginary ghosts.  Natalie's mother,  petunia,  was sick of hearing about these incidents from her teachers,  and kept her locked in her room for the rest of the day again.  Natalie became even more troublesome around the house,  and started scaring cleaners and cooks for attention.  Petunia would hear about this as well,  and decided to let Selene raise her instead,  not bothering to communicate with her daughter at all.  Selene was a little disappointed in Natalie,  but was more furious with Petunia for being neglectful and not supervising her own daughter herself.  "Natalie,  I'm sorry about what your mother did,  she loves you,  she's just been really busy and needs extra help.  Plus,  she has to get her work done,  so don't think she's mad because of you."  Selene reassured her niece.
