Natalie's doll

Petunia was washing dishes all by herself one morning.  She thought about how harsh she had been towards her daughter all these years,  and decided to make it up to her.  She thought about giving her a gift,  but then realised how much she likes that doll,  so she wouldn't really want anything.  Then decided she would take her to the bookshop again.  After she had finished washing the dishes,  she rinsed her hands and turned around to retrieve the tea towel,  only to suddenly see Natalie standing in front of her,  holding her doll.  "Oh,  hi dear!  You wouldn't mind letting me get the towels would you?"  Petunia asked.  Natalie stepped to the side and watched her mother dry her hands.  "You want to go to the bookshop?"  Natalie asked.  Petunia suddenly stopped drying her hands,  and looked at her daughter,  confused..  that's what she was just thinking..  did she accidentally say it out loud?  Must have..  "oh,  yes,  dear.  Are you dressed to go?"  She asked.  Natalie nodded. 

Petunia and Natalie got into the car and drove off to the local bookshop.  "I know you go here often..  is that because you like it?"  Petunia asked.  Natalie silently nodded.  They arrived at the store and stepped out of the car.  "Um..  are you sure you want to bring that doll with you?"  Petunia asked.  Natalie tightened her grip on the doll and firmly nodded her head.  "Alright.."  her mother replied.  The two of them walked into the shop,  and Natalie quickly made her way to the horror section.  Petunia followed her daughter to see what she could get for her.  Natalie moved from the horror section to the witchcraft section,  there she found a book on rituals..  she picked it up with her hand and stared at the cover.  She looked inside and quickly read about 3 pages.  There she walked to the counter.  Petunia quickly followed her and looked at the book.  "Are you sure you want this one?"  She asked.  Natalie nodded.  Petunia bought the book and gave it to her daughter,  who still wasn't smiling yet..
