The music was very relaxing. So chilling that you could close your eyes and fall asleep peacefully in the middle of the jazz club. The place was very neat and clean. On weekends, jazz bands were playing here while people were drinking and dancing happily. But during workdays, this place was so calming and free from disturbance. The bar place had white walls and modern lights above. Other parts of the place had darker walls with pictures of famous jazz musicians, including Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Franks Sinatra, Oscar Peterson, and many others.
-...And in the end, I must thank the creator of this entire project. A person who works extremely hard and who is one of the most faithful, trustworthy, balanced, compassionate, and enthusiastic people I know. I want to thank Liv Jenkins- said a young handsome man raising a glass of cocktail in the air. He had curly, black hair and blue eyes. He was very tall, over 6,2 feet tall, and had a muscular body. He was wearing a tux and was thanking a girl sitting next to him. That girl was Liv Jenkins and the man's name was Joshua Keller. Joshua was the director and owner of the company named "G&J" which officially stood for General and Justice. It was a company that was publishing books, and magazines and had its own TV channel. Liv was the organizer of many events and was writing articles for the magazine. She arranged interviews with ten famous modern writers and wrote amazing articles about them. Other workers and reporters interviewed them on television with Liv's lead.
-Thank you so much, Joshua. And thanks to everyone who participated and helped- Liv raised a glass of her drink as well and smiled warmly.
Liv was generally a very beautiful person from the outside and inside as well. She was kindhearted, witty, and dependable. She had long, wavy, brunette hair, and hazel eyes; there were several freckles on her nose and under her eyes. She was tall and very thin, slim, and beautiful.
She was the kind of person who believe that everyone was imperfect, so she was also focusing on her bad traits and tried to become better. She was very competitive and was getting angry very easily. She had an aggressive side which was annoying her too much.
-Liv-Mia Hart raised a glass-I am also ardently, extremely thank you. The things you do are seriously majestic and fabulous. Cheers!
Liv glanced around the place which was almost full of people. after, she looked at her watch which said 10:07 pm. She then took a sip of her drink and continued enjoying the moment.
-Hello, everybody-a girl with long, black hair and blue eyes approached them. It was Veronica Adler. She was the editor of the magazine in their company. Veronica and Liv weren't close friends, especially in the workplace. Liv was more of a genuine person. The one with a wonderful attitude, splendid and free personality. On the other hand, Veronica was more of a flirty woman, who loved being in the center of attention and wanted everybody to love her. In her opinion, she was the perfect girl everyone wished to know.
–Hey, Ronica- Joshua greeted the woman-how are you doing? Why didn't you come today at work? Was everything alright?
-Yes, I am doing fine. It's just my goddaughter was not feeling well today and I went to visit my precious girl-she said while playing with her bracelet-I told Amelia about that and I was hoping that she'd inform you-she shot a deathly glare to her "friend", Amelia Parker, who tried to hide her rosy cheeks by drinking from the straw.
-It's okay, you're still a very hard worker. One day, one week, even one month won't change that-Joshua told her.
Liv rolled her eyes because she knew the purpose of why Veronica made up a theory about her goddaughter. Veronica Adler was in love with Joshua Keller. To be concrete and correct, madly in love.
-Liv, darling- Veronica turned her head towards Liv who was wearing a white shirt under a black coat and looked totally different from Veronica with a short, scarlet dress and black trench coat-congratulations on the new project, my dear.
Ronica's face was full and she was wearing high heels as usual. She was not very tall so she was always wearing heels.
-Thanks, Veronica-Liv tried to smile, but in the end, she just slightly moved the corners of her lips.
They all continued talking about many different things including love, future, career, embarrassing or funny moments, past, and heartbreaks.
It was 12:00 at night which meant that this calming place would turn into a real club.
-Are we going to dance now?-Joshua asked the other twelve people.
He was kind of a boss who everyone loved and they weren't ashamed to act fool around him. Joshua stood up and so did Veronica along with Benjamin, Thomas, Rosie, and Nicole. Liv finished her drink and also rushed from her seat. She heard her favorite song "Jailhouse rock" being played. Amelia and Mia refused to dance at first, but James and Mia's boyfriend Lucas begged them to stand up. Liv's best friend Holly Bennet came from the outside after talking on the phone, while Nick Carter came from the bathroom.
They all started dancing in the end and laughed very hard. Veronica was barely dancing in her highest heels but was still not giving up. Liv thought that Veronica would move close to Joshua and fall for him to pick her up, but hopefully, Veronica was not that mindless.
They danced, had fun, giggled, and laughed too much until 2 o'clock when Mia and Lucas decided to leave. Josh who looked more like a messy teenager than an adult boss looked at his watch and after a lot of thinking he understood that it was time for him to go. Every single one of them left the place, but Holly and Liv stayed there for half an hour, talking. They both only drank one drink so they were not feeling horrible.
After some time they said goodbye to each other and left as well.
Liv looked up at the sky when she came outside and smiled. Everything was perfect in her life. Well, almost eveything...
