Mysterious Guy

-Cheers, mates-Brienne raised a glass-and congratulations to our little Ruby-Duby.

-You're not drinking?-Kathy asked Liv.

-No, I haven't been drunk for three years-Liv shrugged-I might drink a glass or two, but I just don't get drunk. And none of you will drink a lot today! My house, my rules-Liv laughed.

-My engagement, my rules-Ruby corrected with a giggle.

-As if-Liv chuckled sarcastically.

Kathy fluffed her blonde hair and looked around Liv's apartment.

-Well, Liv, as I understand you're new jobs on fire! 

-What do you mean?

-You are doing what you love and are getting paid for it. And I am still working in the Chanel store. Chose an entirely different path after university. I want to start my own fashion brand.

-I am sure you will do that-Ruby said-you are so talented!

-Absolutely-Liv agreed-do you remember the outfits you were giving Shelby Matthews and Rolinda Crooke for parties? You were literally styling them.

-And once when she was styling Richard Harrison-Brienne started-I walked past Kathy's room and saw them kissing.

-Kathy!-Ruby shrieked.

-Gross!-LIv gasped-You and Richard? That womanizer?!

-I was stupid-Kathy replied-Plus, he was handsome. But it was only happening for a week. Then Amanda Thomas caught his eye.

-Well, that was predictable-Brienne muttered under a sigh.

-So, Liv-Ruby kissed Thor the Retriever's head- I am getting married, Kathy has a relationship with Calvin, and Brienne is in love with George. What about you?

-Me? I don't really have anyone...

-Come on, there is no way that nobody caught your eye-Brienne moved her black hair behind her ears.

-Girls, are you kidding me?! Why is it considered embarrassing when a woman is not in love with anyone?! A woman can be single, she can be taken, she can be in love, or not be interested in anyone at all. And that is normal. 

-Fine, but don't you find anyone handsome?-Kathy asked-haven't you seen a guy in public and thought "Damn, that boy is so insanely handsome".

-Well, there was one guy who I met in the street. But his personality was terrible. Thor accidentally jumped on him. His coffee or whatever spilled on the ground and he started yelling. He was cute though. But not entirely.

-Well, cheers to that mysterious guy then-Brienne raised a glass again.

-Did he look good though?-Kathy asked while biting her bottom lip-But I mean, was he really really gorgeous?

A rosy blush came across Liv's face. She smiled a bit and closed her eyes. 

-Let's say, a man's beauty has never charmed me the way he did.

-Liv-Ruby acted as if she had seen a jumpscare in a spooky movie-you have to meet him again! Maybe it will happen as it was in "Serendipity"...

-Don't bring my favorite film into this-Liv shook her head.

-Maybe you two are soulmates-Ruby sighed romantically.

-Ruby, just because you are getting married doesn't mean that you can romanticize everything-Brienne took a sip from her cup.

-I am only giving her hope-Ruby said innocently.

-Well, his personality was the worst thing ever-Liv added.
