This is a BSM, so enjoy! I think it's cute. I saw this picture of Liam comforting a crying fan and died. Also, I will do any other book/movie for this (including The Hunger Games), but you need to explain to me a sad part of the book/movie; I may not have read/seen it. I do requests and preferences and personals and everything. Please request! It's not annoying at all to request; I love it. Who wants a dedication? Comment then.
This is important!!!
I would just like to clarify that I do write a lot for @Harryliampayne and do publish stuff that I do for her here. Go see that, because sometimes, I will not be posting stuff I write for her here as well. Thank you.
"No!" you screamed at the top of your lungs as you launched your copy of The Fault in Our Stars at your bedroom door.
He died. He can't die! Why must he die?! They were so perfect together.
Gus just died—and you were definitely not taking it well. You sobbed into your pillow and screamed at the same time.
After about one minute, you heard a faint knock at the door.
"y/n?" a small voice questioned from behind it.
You recognized the voice belonged to Liam, your brother, almost immediately.
"W-What?" you chocked out through tears.
"Can I come in?" he inquired cautiously.
"F-Fine," you replied weakly.
The door creaked open a crack, and he slipped in. He looked up at you and saw you were crying by your tear-stained cheeks and the continuous stream coming from your eyes; he rushed over to you and sat on the bed, playing with your hair.
"Baby," he soothed, "what happened?"
"I-I was r-reading the b-book."
You pointed at the book, which was now resting face-down on the floor near the doorway.
It's over there now.
He nodded and rubbed your back.
"A-And G-Gus d-died!" you continued, breaking into sobs at the end.
Why did he have to die?! I wanted him to live; they could've been perfect together—him and Hazel!
He held you close and rocked you back and fourth in his arms.
"Shh... Calm down. It's just a book; he isn't real."
"B-But he d—"
You cut yourself off with a series of harsh sobs.
"Shh... I know. It'll be okay; it isn't real."
He spent the next few minutes just trying to calm you by holding you in his embrace, rubbing circles on your back, and playing with your hair. After a few minutes, you calmed down more.
He went across the room and picked up the book from where you threw it.
He commented, "I'm guessing you don't want to read the rest."
What?! Of course I want to read the rest; it was great!
You snatched the book from him and held it against you.
You laughed, "Are you kidding?! This is awesome!"
He chuckled and left the room, so you could continue reading.
He read the book after you did (At your recommendation, of course.) and finally understood why you were so upset.
You watched the movie together, and he was right there for you whenever you needed him—which was a lot at times.
You chocked up at the part where it showed the casket—it was too realistic for you—but Liam pulled you into his chest and whispered to you that it would be fine.
No, it won't be. You thought at the time.
However, he got some tissues and let you weep on his shoulder for that part; he just wanted to do anything he could to comfort you.
You were eventually okay and could resume enjoying the movie.
Although you knew he would never admit it, he shred a few tears, too. You grinned at his sentimentalism.
Moments like this made you realize how much you really did love your brother—no matter how much of a pain he could be at times.
