You were at your house waiting for Liam, your boyfriend, to return from work. While waiting, you decided to eat ice cream. You were drastically board, so you sang to your desert, the spoon doubling as a microphone.
"One way or another I'm gonna eat you / I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha," you shouted to your dessert at the top of your lungs.
The couch was your make-shift stage as you crazily and sloppily danced on it.
On the last another, you spread your arms out in a finishing pose. Apparently, you flung your arms out a bit too harshly, because the spoon flew from your hand and to a place that you didn't care to think about right now in your house.
Oops! I'm not moving though; that would ruin the moment--and my awesomeness.
So, despite the spoon-being-flung-unexpectedly-to-a-random-place-in-your-house madness, you sustained your pose. That is, until you heard an ear-piercing shriek transpire from the door.
You shot your head around towards the door only to distinguish a glimpse Liam's blue jean jacket before it vanished.
His coat acted like a cape by the way it caught air—a cape that could only belong to your Batman.
You looked at the floor and noticed the spoon laying innocently in the doorway.
So much for Batman!
You burst into laughter.
Unless Batman has a phobia of spoons—an overwhelmingly present fear. I kind of forgot about his spoon problems... Oops. Now, I feel bad.
You frowned.
"Liam," you called out, in case he was still there.
You sighed at the loss of a response.
Oh, well. He'll come back to me, right?
You decided to call him anyways, just to be sure.
"Hey, Li," you said into the phone.
He responded, "Hey, baby. What where you doing?"
You blushed.
"Doesn't matter."
"Yes, it does," he laughed, sounding slightly amused.
"I was singing," you admitted--halfway.
You heard another chuckle from the phone line.
"It's okay, baby. I was watching you; I know what you did."
You bit your lip and blushed harder.
He was watching?
"It was cute."
You giggled shyly and ignored this.
"You can come in now please? You're coming back to me, right?"
"Of course, I'm coming back! I was just scared; did you remove the spoon?"
Thank God. I thought so; I just wanted to be sure.
You stood to your feet and threw the spoon into a bush.
"Yup!"
"Okay," he cheered.
He re-entered your house and smiled at you. You engulfed him into a hug, breathing into his chest.
"I'm so glad you came back."
"Hey," he said softly, "I would never leave you. You know that, right?"
"I do now," you breathed.
"Good. I love you."
"I love you, too, LiLi--so much."
And I'm lucky to have you.
He leaned down as his lips met yours. Somehow, you knew he meant it; he would never leave you.
Really, really lucky to have you.
I put the picture 'cause I thought it was hilarious. How was this? Thanks for reading. :)
