"Sydney, kitten, wake up. I have a surprise for you," Harry whispered gently to you while stroking your hair and lightly shaking your shoulders.
Nope. I don't want to move at all. Maybe, if I don't move, he'll give up and let me stay here; I hope.
"Love, I know you're awake; I can tell your trying not to move. Come on, get up. I have a lot planed for today, and you won't want to miss it," he informed you.
Ugh! Okay, I'll get up, but only because he has plans-and he'll probably get me up anyways.
"Fine," you moaned, urging yourself to sit up.
"Good girl," he chirped as he kissed your cheek. "Now get dressed."
You stood up, nodded, and made your way to the closet.
"What should I wear? Where are you taking me?" you curiously inquired.
"Where something comfortable, and it's a surprise; you'll find out later."
Gee. Thanks, Hazz. That really narrows it down. You thought sarcastically.
You shot him a look, only resulting in his chuckle.
"Wear something halfway fancy, okay? That better?"
You sighed and nodded.
"Alright."
After scanning your clothes a few times, you decided to go with a simple white sundress that had a nice pattern on it.
Not too fancy, but fancy enough. I guess it's okay.
You slipped on the dress. Then, made your way down the stairs to Harry, who was wearing a nice white shirt and jeans.
He complimented, "You look beautiful-just stunning."
You blushed, "Thanks."
He beamed at you, took your hand, and then escorted you to the car.
***a car ride later***
"You ready?"
"Yes!" you exclaimed, eager to see where you were at.
(You couldn't see because of the fact that he persisted on blindfolding you earlier.)
Where are we; I want to know!
"Okay, okay. Calm down. I'll let you see now," he told you, sensing your anxiousness.
The cloth was taken away from your eyes. Your mouth dropped as soon as you saw where he brought you-a Percy Jackson exhibit.
Oh, my goodness! Yay!
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you," you repeated over and over as you engulfed him in a huge hug.
He grinned, hugging you back.
"You're welcome."
He backed away for a second only to kiss your forehead and put an arm around your waist, pulling you closer to him.
"Let's go," he encouraged.
You nodded. He intertwined his fingers with yours and swung your hands happily between the two of you as you walked towards the entrance.
Once you entered, there was a man you recognized; you couldn't put your finger on who he was though-or what he did.
Who is he? I know that I know him from somewhere-or something.
Once he saw you, he greeted, "Hello. Mind if I show you around?"
Finally, it dawned on you.
That's Rick Riordan! What is this madness?! I can't handle myself; that's the author of the Percy Jackson series-the author of basically this whole place!
