DustyStar's POV
I made my two kits into apprentices, LittlePaw's mentor was RippleCloud. A tall, thin, pure white she cat with heavy blue eyes. While SparrowPaw's mentor was RedEar, the bright red eared tom with a funny attitude.
I saw Lauren watching with awe but ignored it and said the right words. After the ceremony I said goodbye to the clan, put RedEar; the deputy in charge and strode off with Lauren. I made sure to grab the stone. StarClan will need these back.
We journeyed in wind clan territory and saw a hunting party who of course asked about the twoleg beside me. The deputy; OneClaw and two others. They couldn't understand her but she could understand them.
"Why in StarClan have you got a twoleg!" BrittlePaw hissed.
"I would love to explain but I need to get going an-" I tried walking past them but OneClaw clawed my side.
"Tell us!" He growled.
"She stumbled into our territory, with her mother twoleg. Her mother took a cat of our clan but she stayed. Probably to steal another one of us. She thinks she has me but she's wrong." I laughed. They let us pass.Lauren's POV
I kept looking behind my back but nothing was there, DustyStar tricked the other cats good. They didn't even think to come after us. I look at houses, was I seriously giving all this up? A warm house to stay in, my school, my friends and what am I thinking?! If I go home "they'll" hunt me down and then I'll be dog meat!
We trudged through fields and past deserted farms, DustyStar's ears pricked as a dog barked in the distance but he kept going. I followed until we came to a cave.
"How do I get in?" I asked, "Am I too big?"
"Go on your hands and knees.... But keep by me!" He replied going into the cave. I followed, the sharp sides cutting into my shoulders. DustyStar's tail tickled my nose so I knew he was near. We finally got to an opening where light flooded in by moonlight. It landed on a large blue stone. It was amazing that no person knew this was in here.
"You look like you've been in a battle with bloodclan! Are you ok?!" DustyStar exclaimed. I nodded. "Ok... Just lie down touching the stone." I did and soon fell into a deep sleep.I could see an opening in the light. Thunderclan in the distance and others in the other 3 corners. I was not not alone there was another cat in the clearing a Tom with fiery fur. I looked at him, I'd never seen him before.
"Hello, I am FireStar. I used to be the leader of ThunderClan." He said.
"H-hi." I said waving. Suddenly rows of cats appeared behind him. I noticed one in particular.
"Poppy?" I choked out the words.
"Call me PoppySeed. When you lost me I came to the forest. But you found me, I missed life here but I still came to StarClan." She said happily. This was what she sounded like.
"Are you ready to loose your twoleg form?" Asked FireStar.
"I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be..." I shrugged as PoppySeed, FireHeart and two other walked up to me. One of the others had grey fur with stripes and was quite big, while the other was slender and silver. PoppySeed came closer to me her tortoiseshell fur was shining.
"In this second life I give you the wisdom of thunderclan cats." She pronounced. She had to learn the ways of clan life but I was being given it. A spasm surged threw me making me fall to the ground. Although trembling I knew all about clan life but I had to give up one thing. I no longer remembered twoleg tounge. The silver she-cat came up to me.
"In your new life I give you love and kits." Her voice was sweet and I braced myself for the flow of pain but I was filled with a warm glow. It gave me strength. The grey, striped warrior cane up next.
"I give you the skill of hunting, but try to get better than me." He laughed and went to join the others. I was stuck with pain which forced me onto my hands and knees unable to get back up I stayed there. FireStar approached.
"I give you fighting skills that we all possessed." FireStar mewed and went to join the others. They disappeared, all of the StarClan cats while I was left shaking as new pain surged threw me. I felt warm, and smaller. I suddenly awoke. My reflection in the moonstone showed me I was a thin and smooth cat. White pained me paws and tips of my pointed ears but the darkness revealed no more colours of my pelt. I was no longer a twoleg. I was a ThunderClan cat.
