Second Grade

Here is the long awaited update

**I am sorry for the delayed update. I had my sisters wedding, vacation and more job searching** 

This year went by super quick for the little family. Uncle Clive came back to visit for Harry's 7th birthday and brought some new books for them both to study. Tony has advanced extremely fast compared to many his age who are learning something new. His mind being open to all possibilities has helped in massive ways. When the kids are taught what is possible through schooling they stop trying to find out what else can be achieved. Tony does not have this restriction and his tutors do not impose one. He has all of his imagination to explore. He was in a way creating new possibilities. For example through the use of Runes he created an amulet for himself and Gibbs to wear at work that will warn them of danger, detect hidden evidence and protect them from influential magic. Tony is thinking about making one for McGee now that their relationship is progressing.

Tony also created a bracelet for Harry that links to a little lightning bolt charm on necklaces that Tony, Gibbs, Tim, Vance, Ducky, Jimmy, and Clive have. If Harry is ever in danger the charm will detect it and alert the closest to him of the danger. This was unfortunately tested once when Harry was walking around the neighborhood. He was allowed to walk around the neighborhood as long as he stayed in the line of sight of his house. Harry was home with Breena and her new baby when a car was speeding down the street. He did not see the car fast enough but when he did he was so scared he accidentally apparated to the Navy Yard. In the middle of the bullpen Tony, Gibbs, Tim and Jimmy immediately dropped what they were doing and ran out of the building. Vance walked out onto the overlook to see them leaving and decided to tell Ducky the others were going. Jimmy pulled out his phone to call Breena and ask what happened and reassure her that Harry was okay and that he was at the Navy Yard. Tony picked Harry up trying to calm him down and get the story from him. It took over half an hour for him to calm down enough to tell them what happened. After a call to Vance, Tony went back into the building and grabbed his bag and keys to take the rest of the day off.

Now that Tim knows about Harry and has stepped up to become more protective of him they have gotten along better. Tony takes him aside and has a serious talk about the past and changes that they should make. Tony also understood after that talk that some of his jokes went too far and what he thought was funny may have or did end up hurting McGee because of his self-confidence. This discussion led to them becoming closer and Tim's confidence increased. Tim joined them at the birthday party for Harry as well. He gifted him a Nintendo DS so he could have something to play when he was on the go or waiting around.

Tony and Gibbs together build a shed in the backyard for a special project. While they build the whole shed by hand in their time off and at night, with the occasional help from Harry and the team, Tony added wards to keep anyone not family out. The outside of the shed was an army green matching the color of the shudders on the house. They built a shed that from the outside looked big enough to hold the boats that Jethro is famous for making in his basement.

On the inside Tony, Clive, and Ducky used expansion charms and made it into a multi-room, multi-floor space. The basement area was set and warded to be a potions room. There were two desks set up with cauldrons, burners, and all the knives and stirring rods. There were also two separate cabinets by the desks for the completed potions from Harry and Tony. While Harry is too young now in a few years he wont be so teaching him proper safety now is important. There was also an expanded walk-in closet to stop all the ingredients.

The first floor has two offices, one for Tony and one for Harry to store their magical materials for schooling and work. Each office had a desk, two bookshelves, an office chair, and a window for natural lighting. The first floor also had a bathroom with just a simple shower, toilet, and sink. The walls were a light blue and the floor was cherry wood looking vinyl. The hallway leads towards a spiral staircase leading to the second floor. Tony's office is a nice calming green with a dark wood desk and bookshelf. His bookshelves were full of the subjects that most interested him, Defense, Potions, History, Runes and Warding.
