Chapter 3: I'M A PRINCESS?!

Y/N POV

"Theres a prophecy that a human girl from another world would be our princess, out leader." Blossom spoke softly

"A crown of one jewel, a clue of none." Zephyr said

"Wait.. so you're telling me I'm a PRINCESS?! OF DRAGONS?!" I spoke loudly

"Yes... Maybe? We shouldn't let any other dragons see you until we speak with our mother, like we were going to do." Zephyr spoke and glared at Atlantis

"Sorry sis, but if she is who we think... Then we should show her respect" Atlantis spoke back

"You don't need to treat me with respect, but I would like that you give me a place to sleep?" I asked

"Oh yes, we can take you back to our cave! Although we do have to go into the water to get to it"

I looked at them unsure if we should just stay here or go to their cave.

"Sure, but how long will it take to walk there?" I asked

The dragons looked at Atlantis with big gummy smiles

"Oh, uhhh, I'm the best in water so you can ride there on me, after all you probably can't hold your breath to long to go with one of my sisters" Atlantis said with a smile

"Like sit on you back..." I asked

"Uh, yes silly. Or do you think you can swim without getting air for a minute? And you can't see in the dark" Atlantis said and walked over to me.

"Uh, fine?" I said

Atlantis shot his own blast at the fire and it starting go out. His sister's flew off leaving me infront of a bowing dragon. I carefully got on his neck, it was a bit slimy but it wasn't to bad.

"You might wanna hang on, and once we get close to the water be sure to hold your breath" Atlantis said and got into a take off position, readying his wings and tail.

I tried to grab onto his neck but since it was kinda slimy and wet the grip wasn't the best. I leaned forward and clamped onto his neck. I opened my mouth to say something but all that came out was screams. I quickly closed my mouth and clenched my jaw. I closed my eyes scared of what would come next. I felt my body slipping slightly and then more and more. Before I could fly the wind seemed to slow down. I opened my eyes so I could readjust properly. I shifted my legs being careful to not look down.

"Are you ready?" Atlantis asked

"..sure!?.." I responded

I looked up at the veiw and it was wonderful we weren't to high off the ground but definitely higher than most roller coasters I've been on. I quickly held on as I felt air rushing up my t-shirt to my face then off my hair. As we neared the water Atlantis slowed down and I took a big breath and closed my eyes right before we hit the water. I don't know how long it was but it went by fast. As soon as we got out of the water my lungs breathed for air. I opens my eyes to see a very beautiful open cave. There were vines hanging off the walls and ceilings. There was this one spot the had a lot of vines like from tangled and how moth gothel got in and out of the area. It probably leads to more caves, maybe?

"So? Do you like it?!" I heard Zephyr say and turned around to see her gummy smile

I looked to the ceiling and there was some holes letting in a little light, there was so many stars.

"It's wonderful" I say

I yawn not realizing I was tired.

"So.. could you tell me more about the prophecy that might be me?" I ask the dragons that are getting ready for bed, yawning, stretching, and cleaning themselves.

"We can all go to see our mom in the morning? She knows the most about the prophecy, being alpha." Blossom said and looked to her siblings

"Sure" Atlantis yawned

"Yep, totally. Let's sleep first.." Zephyr said and layed down.

"It's okay, I'm also kinda tired too" I said with a slight smile

"Okay.. well follow me" Blossom said and walked over to a patch of grass that had seeped it's way in through a crack in the wall.

Blossom went up to the patch of grass and I followed her, she lifted up some sticks and pulled something out of the ground.

"I know it's not much but I hope it's enough" She said picked up a big strip of wool

"Thanks" I said and grabbed it from her mouth

Blossom walked over to a different part of the grass to make some room for me, even though there was already plenty. As I wrapped myself up in the wool I yawned a goodnight to the others then drited off to sleep.
