Chapter 4: Alphas Verdict

Zephyr POV

"Psst, wake up!" I slapped Atlantis with my tail

"I'm up, I'm up!" He groaned then stretched

"Come on! We gotta go get mom!" I told Atlantis as I walked towards the vines hanging above a tunnel

"What about Blossom?" He asked walking after me

"I'm staying with Y/N," Blossom said as she walked up to us

"Atlantis, we gotta go! Hurry! Before mom takes everyone for fish!" I said and ran off

"Slow down, you know mom will want us there anyways!" Atlantis complained

We reached a big opening, furies of all kinds getting ready to eat, race, or teach the youngins'.

"Hey, Speedy, have you seen our mom by chance?" I asked a yellow, orange, and red flame fury.

"Yeah, she's with Star by the watering hole," he replied the slid off to his sister, Jet.

Me and Atlantis flew up and across to a more open tunnel. We walked through to a crystal clear river. We aproched Star, a female night light fury with golden eyes that shone brightly in light. There we stripes and dots of yellow-gold all over her body and especially on her tail.

"Hey, Star, do you know where our mom is? We have some very important news for her!" Atlantis spoke proudly.

"Well if you were to look behind you," she gestured her head to behind us.

"You would see that I'm right here," our mother walked up beside us and sat by Star.

"Mom, we have some really important news to tell you!" Atlantis said cheerfully and in a girly voice.

"We think we've found the princess!" I finished for my brother.

Mom's face lit up.

"Star, tell everyone that you will be leading breakfast this morning, I must go with my kids," she said and Star flew off.

"Take me to her," Mom said.

"Yes ma'am!" Atlantis said and flew off.

"Seriously?!" I called after the flying pair "Way to leave me behind," I muttered to myself.

Y/N POV

I awoke to a pink and black tail gliding over my face.

"Blossom," I complained.

"What? I was just trying to wake you up, sheesh," Blossom sat, and wrapped her tail around her paws.

"I don't think I'm gonna get used to this," I said and rubbed my back in slight pain. "Why'd you wake me anyway?" I stretched and stood up.

"My mom's coming to see you," Blossom spoke softly staring off to where Zephyr and Atlantis left to.

I yawn, "How long have the other two been gone? Should I be worried, oh I'm worried!" I says and pace a bit.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine. They should be back soon, but it's only been a few minutes," Blossom comes and sits by my pacing self.

We hear some talking from the tunnel, rapidly approaching. Blossom stands and walks forward a bit. Three dragons come out, Zephyr, Atlantis, and then anoth Night-light fury.
    The new fury was mostly black with pink and blue parts scattered across her. Her eyes were green and staring at me with an intense gaze.

"H-hi," I muttered and kind of froze up. I cleared my throat, "it Y/N, Y/N
L/N, and you are?" I spoke a bit louder.

She walked up to me, probably inspecting me. I slightly laughed a bit awkwardly.
