Chapter 5: Ravaged Souls

Kim's POV

Lights off when they should be on. Even stars in the skies, they're wrong. Short days when the nights are long, when I think of the things I've done.

I hope his heart is still open to love me and keep on loving me.

"Chay!" I said when I saw him crying as he sat down in the corner wrapping his arms around his knees.

As I was watching him breaking down my heart is aching knowing I'm the reason for all of his pain.

I'm the reason why his beautiful smile started to fade away when it used to make my day.

His smile used to light my dark world full of mysteries.

His innocence awaken the part of me I never used.

He have woken my cold heart as I break his.

His whole existence is the key that unlocked my heart.

If only he knew the reasons why I'm doing all of this.

I wanna go towards him but when he heard me he started running away.

"Chay! wait for me stop running" I yelled trying to catch up with him.

He's making his away outside as he ran away from me.

"Chay!" I yelled as my heart skipped a beat when 5 men was trying to kidnap him.

He was doing his best fighting back and doing all this crazy stunts as I stood there in shock.

Since when did he learn to do all this?

I immediately started helping him when I saw he was getting weaker.

His heart was betraying him as it was not strong enough to fight while his whole body is ready to risk it all.

All 5 men are on the ground as the other one breaks down. I saw Chay had a few bruises but I panicked when I saw he had a cut on his waist and the blood started dripping.

"Chay! are you okay?" I asked worriedly as I lift him up and was about to carry him but he refused and said

"Its okay phi, I can handle myself. Ill be going home now" I tried to stop him but he fell on the ground. I lift him up once again and realized that he had a fever.

"Chay you're burning hot" I yelled

"I know I'm hot phi" he chuckled in response that made me shocked, Is this really Chay?

"Fuck Chay this is not the right time to joke around" I said

"You're going home with me" I added

I then carried him in a bridal style and he started complaining. I didn't care, I just let him be.

I put him down and opened the car door for him. He entered still sulking, he had no choice of course.

I started driving the car and made a stop at a local food place after I got what I needed we headed towards my apartment.

I stopped the car and looked at the person beside me sleeping peacefully. I stared at him for awhile before I carried him in my apartment. He must be very tired.

I carried him in my room and carefully placed him on the bed.

He has a high fever. I woke him up to feed him and give him medications.

"Chay, wake up you need to eat so you can drink the pills" I said softly

"How did I get here phi? he asked
