Elijah and Hayley returned from Hawaii and moved into the Mikaelson house until they found an apartment to stay in. A few weeks passed and they decided to go to a witch to guess the gender of their child. I had heard in the past that Agnes had that talent, but she had been killed. I figured out who had been killed by Elijah because he wanted to attack Hayley and hurt Hope then. Hope was not even born, and everyone thought that she was a dangerous person, that she was a mistake, and that she was a freak of nature that needed to be salted immediately. Hope had been hated by the witch more because the wolves protected her and the vampires protected her because Hope was always important to Marcel. I remember an event in Hayley's (mother's) journal that said Marcel saved Hope when the witches wanted to kill her. The fake death had been concocted by her, Klaus and Elijah. Also, I found the part where she married Jackson (the father) and she wrote after he died then that she loved and respected him but the one she really loved was Elijah because she created a connection with him from the beginning and that could to rely on at any time. Along with understanding, respect and unconditional love, they both had a strong bond with Klaus. Elijah being his brother and Hayley being the one who had given Hope life. Hope was very happy for Hayley, her mother realizing from the age of seven that Hayley liked Elijah, Klaus brother and Hope's uncle.
