dancing in the fields

Emily pov:

I was stood in the field not too far from my house waiting for Sue to arrive.I was expecting her to see the note which I had left her which I put in through her letterbox this morning.

A few moments later,I hear small footsteps and someone calling out my name.

"Emily are you there?" The voice said.

I quickly recognised that it was Sue's voice so I began to walk over to her."There you are" I said whilst putting my hands around her shoulders to give her a hug.

Sue returned the hug before pulling away."Emily im sorry we can't just keep sneaking off as I much as I love doing this with you I have things to do which are important" Sue sighed.

I sighed before responding,"So you don't wanna hang out with me anymore" I replied with a sad look on my face.

Sue and I paused for a minute before Sue let out a small sigh and lifted her hands up and put them on my cheeks."Emily don't be silly I love you and I promise you I'll try my best to hang out with my girl which is you" she said giving me a small smile.

I smiled back to her before we both leaned in to kiss each other.We stayed like that for a minute or two before I pulled away because I had an idea.

"How about we dance?" I asked with a small smirk on my face.

Sue nodded and smiled in response before I took her hand and we started dancing in the field (god I love this and this woman so much).

After at least and hour of dancing and just chilling and talking on the field,we both decided to go back to our houses and at home I couldn't help but think about what had just happened with Sue.
