My dreams were a mixture of peace and horror, much like living with my Aunt Caroline. There were times where she was my closest confidant. She taught me to stand up for myself, taught me self-defense so I could hold my own and protect myself, and told me I was strong because I survived. Then there were times she truly terrified me, abusing me both physically and mentally. I woke up in the back lounge area of the Ice Nine Kills tour bus Spencer sleeping soundly behind me. I sat up slowly running my hands through my hair attempting to comprehend how I got here.

"Amias brought you on our bus last night."

My head snapped up meeting the pitch-black eyes of Spencer's demonic companion. Bits and pieces of the evening returned to me which only made me put my head in my hands. The cat was out of the bag now, the world now knew Spencer Charnas and I were dating. If Paul had still been on this tour there was a good chance, I'd be packing my bags and heading back to California.

"Is Spencer actually asleep or did you take over?" I kept my voice down. He looked at me placing his hand on his chest in mock shock.

"We brainstormed late into the night. He's quite exhausted, you'll be stuck with me until Sleeping Beauty awakes."

"What were you brainstorming?" I grabbed Kurt out of my duffle, needing his comforting presence to ground me.

"By now I am positive you've noticed that the South Street Slayer is following our Trinity of Terror tour."

"He's either following, or he's on the tour itself." I met his pitch-black eyes. "My money is on him being on the tour."

"Quite the clever one you are Miss Kaitie Koala." He smirked. "I am about to give you one of our most coveted trade secrets."

"If its how to kill your kind let me grab a notepad." I reached into my messenger bag, hissing in pain. Spencer now had a death grip on my wrist. His eyes were still closed, his breathing deep.

"Watch yourself with me princess, whether you believe me or not I am here to help you. It is in the agreement I made with Spencer. I will tell you one of our weaknesses." He leaned forward. "Do I have your attention? Can I count on your cooperation?"

"You have my attention; my cooperation depends entirely upon what it is you need me to do." I mimicked his posture, my hands resting on my lap.

"Holy water blessed by a Catholic Priest is our greatest weakness. Well, any kind packs a punch but we've had a long history with the padres. There is a church not too far from the venue, St. Anthony's."

"The Patron Saint of Lost Things." I whispered.

"I didn't peg you for the religious type." He mused.

"I'm not, a friend of my aunt's always told me to send a prayer to him anytime I lost something." I slipped out of Spencer's hand rising to my feet.

"Does this mean you've agreed to help?"

"I will, on one condition."

"You are in no position-"

"Humor her." Spencer said sleepily. His demon glared daggers at him.

"Fine, what is your condition?"

"My crew Milo, Nadine, Toshi, Amias, and Kambria I want you to keep an eye on them. If the Slayer even thinks of corrupting their souls, you'll find yourself being sent back to Hell with your forked tail between your legs." I threatened.

"I do not have a forked tail." He rolled his eyes. "I will keep an eye on them, I can make no other promises Kaitlynn my contract is with your boyfriend. I will say this, if you want to guarantee their safety find your parents killer."
