"This cannot be happening."

With security nowhere to be found Paul began to reacquaint himself back into the merch crew. Kambria and Toshi greeted him like an old friend, which made sense considering demons were now inhabiting their bodies. Nadine hadn't stopped shaking repeating "This cannot be happening" over and over again. Milo had his arms around her attempting to calm her down the best he could. Amias kept close to my side his dark eyes watched Paul like a hawk.

"Which of Paul's relatives did the Slayer take?" Amias whispered to me. The cat was out of the bag now Amias and Milo knew everything. A byproduct of Spencer walking out of the shadows in front of Nadine with Milo and Amias standing not too far away.

"His brother and sister-in-law." I began reciting from memory. "He had custody of his niece Daphne, she died at the age of fourteen from a car accident."

"Which is why he took her place." Milo's voice shook slightly. "Are we really the only ones left?"

"On this tour? Yes. As a whole? No, there's one more person in Chicago. The first survivor." I answered.

"Josiah Kross." Nadine whispered the name. "Kait, what are we going to do?"

"Set's about done ladies, let's get back to work."

Amias and Milo stiffened, their eyes narrowing into slits. Nadine moved protectively behind Milo. Instinct led me to hand Nadine the rosary I had in my pocket. She nodded in thanks clutching the beads tightly. The air became thick with tension, reminding me of dinners with my aunt after I received a letter from Spencer.

"We do not take orders from you."

Amias moved to stand protectively in front of us crossing his arms in front of his chest. Paul crossed the small space mirroring Amias' stance. The smell of his cologne so overpowering I had to step back.

"Excuse me boy, what did you just say to me?"

"You heard me." He growled instantly on the offensive. "Jenny fired your ass you should be behind bars for the things you have done to Kambria, Nadine, and all the other girls who came before them. I do not know how you managed to dodge security but I'll be damned if you pollute this place any longer with your bigotry and ignorance. I have contacted Detective Christian, he's on his way to arrest you and put you back in the hole you crawled out of."

"See here boy..."

"Amias, his name is Amias you perverted piece of shit." Milo moved to Amias' side. Paul's eyes went pitch black at the same time the sprinkler system in the building went off. The moment the water made contact with Paul's skin his face contorted with pain. His skin began bubbling he collapsed to his knees. I looked over my shoulder Nadine had her hand clutching the rosary pressed against one of the exposed pipes on the wall. I turned back around Chris leaned heavily against the wall his hand on the fire alarm smoke rising off his own body.

Questions began popping into my mind, not that I was given much time to go over them. Amias took me outside where Detective Christian's car idled on the curb. I tried to go back inside; he shook his head pointing towards the car.

"I can't even begin to understand what's been going on, on this tour or how all twenty-seven of us were brought together. What I do know is Spencer has been taken into custody for a crime that he didn't commit and he needs you to be his anchor." He turned me towards the car.

"Be safe Amias." I hugged him tightly. I felt him kiss the top of my head giving me one last push towards the vehicle. I ran over whipping the car door open sliding into the passenger's seat.

"If I didn't know any better detective, I'd say you were following my tour." I smirked.

"The South Street Slayer is on this tour, I let him get away once I will not allow him to get away this time." Christian put the car into gear.
