Hackett's Quarry camp cabins, cabin 1

Emma- Hey Abi, what happened to Izzy last night?
Abi- She had a nightmare, I have to talk to Ryan when we get to the lodge. *Exits the cabin* Come on guys, wake up!
Izzy- *Exits her cabin* Abi!
Abi- Izzy!
Izzy- *Runs to her*
Abi- *Hughs her* Did you finally get some sleep?
Izzy- Yes! Thank you for helping me, I'm sorry for waking you up in the middle of the night.
Abi- Don't be sorry honey, wake me up whenever you need it, don't suffer in silence.
Emma- Come on guys, let's go have breakfast!
Abi- Come on sweetie. *Arrives at the lodge and sits with the rest*. Hey guys, how are we going to organize today with all the issue of the punishment?
Emma- I've got class, you can divide into couples like yesterday. Each couple has one of the three periods with the kids, another one with the punished ones, and the last one is free.
Kaitlyn- I'm with Dylan this time.
Jacob- I'm with Juls.
Ryan- Okay then, Abi?
Abi- Fine.
Kaitlyn- Dylan and I will have the morning period for games, the period after lunch with those punished and after dinner free.
Juls- Okay bossy shorty... *rolls her eyes*.
Kaitlyn- No! Hahaha *hits Juls' arm* I was suggesting, if someone wants to change the schedule I don't mind.
Juls- You didn't clarify so at first.
Kaitlyn- Ugh *hits Juls' arm*.
Dylan- Leave her Kai, she's just jealous I'm the one spending the day with you *winks at Juls*.
Juls- *Raises an eyebrow*. Anyways, Jacob, shall we get the morning period with the punished kids, after lunch free, and games after dinner? Works for you?
Jacob- Fine for me.
Abi- So Ryan and I have free in the morning, games after lunch, and punished kids after dinner, am I right?
Emma- Yep. I'll be taking the youngest to class in a minute.
Abi- By the way, for the ones in cabin 2, last night Izzy, a 5th grader, started knocking on our door because of a nightmare. Why do you tell horror stories about the camp to a bunch of 10-yeared-olds?
Dylan- Ryan's fault...
Ryan- What? Did they have nightmares about the story I told them yesterday?
Dylan- That's just what she told you...
Ryan- Oh god... I-I'm sorry, I didn't think they would believe it...
Abi- Not the eldest campers but remember the youngest are ten or eleven years old.
Ryan- Oh fuck... *stands up*. Guys listen up! Regarding the story I told some of you yesterday, please, beware IT'S NOT REAL OKAY? I'm so sorry if I scared you, please notify me if you're scared or can't sleep and I will try to help. So sorry guys.

Ryan- Hey... I'm sorry for all the thing of the horror story... please wake me up next time and go back to sleep, I'll take care of it.
Abi- The problem wasn't waking up at 3, the problem is because of them, not me.
Ryan- Yeah... I'm sorry Abi, I don't know what else to do.
Abi- I guess nothing but don't mind it now, I appreciate you've done something at least.

How do I start a conversation now?

Ryan- Do you... know something to talk about?
Abi- Umm... how did you meet Mr. H?
Ryan- Well... I went through some tough shit as a teen and I met him at camp the summer I was 14. When camp finished he told me to call him whenever if I needed something and we became closer because he started acting like a father to me.
Abi- Wow, I'm sorry you went through... whatever that was.
Ryan- Thanks to him that's not a problem now. By the way, how did you get into art?
Abi- Well... art has always been my way of escaping reality. As an introvert, I've had tons of interior worlds to be alone in and my first drawings consisted of the representation of those.
Ryan- I get the introvert part. My way of escaping is sailing or well... paddle surfing better. Just me and the sea, relaxation at 100%, no people, perfect.
Abi- Fits you so well with the mysterious aura you have haha.
Ryan- Mysterious aura? What the hell hahaha.
Abi- The other counselors see you as a mysterious, sexy, loner sailor... hahaha.
Ryan- Thanks I guess haha.
Abi- How does it feel to have conquered the heart of two counselors already? Hahaha.
Ryan- I did nothing so I don't know haha. Kaitlyn seemed more interested at the beginning though...
Abi- Yeah, now she's so much closer to Juls. I'm afraid they don't realize on time, they would look so good together.
Ryan- Some people live in denial and take things too slow... and some people are Emma and Jacob hahaha.
Abi- They're a special case haha.
Ryan- Taking about slow things, same to you with Nick.
Abi- Nick? What? No, I don't take things slowly, those things don't exist.
Ryan- Some people like living in denial...
Abi- And then Ryan entered into philosophical mode again... I hope Dylan likes it.
Ryan- He loves it hahaha.
Abi- Do you like him?
Ryan- Me? I... don't know.
Abi- You should clear your mind before someone gets hurt. I know from experience.
Ryan- I will not make false expectations for him, I swear. I just mess around with him when he starts.
Abi- Good. I don't see Dylan as the type of boy that gets excited easily with love though.
Ryan- He's smart enough not to.
Abi- I don't know if you realize but you talk more often about Dylan than I do with Nick hahaha.
Ryan- Oh god haha. No seriously, you should give Nick a try, he looks like he's falling.
Abi- I don't know Ry, I don't see it that way and I'm scared I'll lose his friendship.
Ryan- He's such a nice guy, he wouldn't ghost anybody, and even less you.
Abi- I guess so...
